Harriet always knew how Cain felt about Moira. After what happened with Ashley I would have thought she would have had more sense than to get mixed up with a man who clearly still had feelings for another woman regardless of how many times he denied it.
Harriet says she knew Cain and Moira should be together so why did she keep clinging on if she knew this all along. She was the one who got involved and kept pushing for more . As an ex police officer,private investigator and vicar she is meant to be good at reading people so get a grip and take some responsibility
Didn't Harriet try to break up with Cain multiple times because she thought he still loved Moira? She told him multiple times that she didn't want to be with someone who was still in love with their ex, but Cain kept claiming that he didn't want Moira, that he wanted Harriet. Idk, seemed like she knew something was up, but the guy she loved kept insisting that he only wanted her.
Actions speak louder than words and shes not a young girl with no experience of the world, she chose to stay and she had the brass neck to accuse Moira of having been with her partner when Harriet has been with Moiras husband and the father of her baby. Harriet is needy and jealous her own actions speak volumes. Sanctimonious and pious vicar not great qualities
Didn’t Cain and Moira get divorced in 2016? Harriet didn’t do anything with Moira’s husband because Cain hasn’t been her husband for years... Actions do speak louder than words, and Moira and Cain having sex while Cain was still in a relationship is gross and pathetic. Cheating and sleeping with someone else's partner really aren't great qualities.
Everyone including Cain still refers to Moira as his wife. Harriet showed signs of jealousy even when the baby had hospital appointments because he was ill. Having the professions shes had she is meant to be able to read people and read between the lines she professes to know they were still in love so why would any self respecting adult stay. Shes old enough to know when shes being played. Cain is at fault because he says what she wants to hear to bed her. Why would Harriet want to be with someone who so obviously looks at someone else with complete adoration
That's what happens when people get caught up in their feelings tho. A lot of people fall in love and push the warning signs to the side, especially when the person they love is reassuring them and telling them that they only want to be with them. She definitely should have left earlier, but that doesn't change the fact that Cain and Moira were dead wrong for having sex before Cain broke up with her.
