He should be for sure. He both knocked out, submitted and beat cannonier by decision all in one fight👏👏👏. Edit: I never said he tapped, he just was going in and out of sleep at some point
Side note was actually nice to see two main event guys being respectful towards each other and not all the lame bravado for once. They put on a great fight.
Can anyone of Asian decent from that country translate what his tattoo's say? He seems to have got the early 2000's "This is what is cool" starter pack going on. That script and neck tattoo is wild and something I would have gotten if I had cash when I was 13 and my brain hadn't developed critical thinking yet.
Eye pokes could be handeled easily. Taking s model from ice-hockey. In hockey, if your stick hits opponents head, it’s a penslty. There is no crying that it was an accident. If it hits it hits. Rules say, ”you are responsible of your stick”. UFC could work the same. ”You are responsible of your fingers”. Eye poke - lose a point. No questions. For a period of time there would be crying and bitching and then the sport evolves and fighters start to keep a fist when extending hands. It’s proven, it works. It’s simpe. It’s fair. No more ”wll you can poke two or three times and let’s see then…. How can you attack someone through extended fingers… gives quite an advantage… And it is a good technique untill it’s against the rules.
Khamzat? Is this some joke? Who did he fight at middleweight? Caio is undefeated in the UFC, he took on undefeated Dagestanis and won. Yesterday he took Cannonier out for nothing, don't talk to me about khamzat in the middleweight when his entire record is in the lower category🤦♂️
@@lucaszenite5035 Even though you right, we all know the UFC's plans. They doing everything in their power to fast track Khamzat to a title shot. They were about to give him one coming off his last win if he didn't get injured. Luckily the guy who deserved it in DDP got his shot despite the UFC's plans. Do you really think they won't give Khamzat the shot if he beats Rob? Unfortunately Rob is about to get the short end of the stick, because if he wins Sean is next. If Khamzat wins, he will be next.
easy fight to make next. Winner of Whittaker vs Khamzat. Winner will get next title shot since Strickland will be fighting DDP next. Not sure if possible because of timeline, but Borralho should stay ready in case Whittaker or Khamzat pull out.
Rankings mean nothing in UFC. A man going from 12 to 5 after just 1 win LOOOOOL be serious. Anything can happen in a fight, it’s not realistic I’m sorry
I mean is it really that crazy? You got Costa at 8 coming off two loses, Vettori at 6 lost his last fight against Cannonier, Brendan Allen at 7 has a fight coming up against number 4 Nassourdine Imavov and the winner will leapfrog Caio.. Why shouldn't he be at 5 after beating number 5 ranked Cannonier?
Why do I find most Brazilian fighters so cringe? The over flamboyant singing and dancing to the octagon? Hugging and kissing men? The crying after every fight? Overly emotional?
@@yurischuelter3303 I have been watching it longer than you. Nogueira is my favourite fighter. 90% of Brazilians are… flamboyant. They’re like women. It’s weird because they’re fighters. I also notice they are easy to rile up. It seems to be a virtue in Brazil to lose your cool.
