Awesome!! Watched it twice and still can't believe that you walked through that icey water... and still laughing!! Great outdoor adventure! Thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you made your trip prior to another lockdown today, looks amazing trip rather envious. For the record I wear bin bag liners and wind round my pants strapping to my upper thigh works every time and never get wet feet on river crossing just above my knee anything much higher and faster I would not attempt, have fun soon?
We are still waiting for snow. You would think in Canada that would not be a problem. The fat bike is ready and waiting for something other than rain and mud.
@@annieleoutside6044 yes of course. They sell these really lightweight shoe socks called " Skinners Barefoor" at Backpacking Light UK. Might be handily Take care and happy new year.
@@grantswheelstohills cheers for that suggestion. Not sure they would help with the cold but would protect against rocks for sure! Happy New year to you too.
Wow 🤩 this is so great!! Greetings from Kassel Germany Rainer (Goldenboy2406@insta) Next time when you are crossing a river take two thick plastic bags (for example rubbish bags) into your baggage... put it over and y don’t need to take off your shoes and socks... (dressing up like a fisherman or 🧜🏻♀️) 🙈😆😆😆
Hello! Ha, thats a great idea. I will remember that. Part of it was we had not planned the route exactly as we didint know the snow condtions. So we sort of ended up there having gone a bit further than we thought.
