That Banana guy was bang out of order!! When I went to Egypt with my husband to visit his family we went to a bbq that apparently happens every year and like hundreds and hundreds of people go with their family’s to do a bbq and have fun. A family day out basically. But me and my husband and his sister went into the shop to get some drinks and it was very very busy. As we waited in line the guy behind me grabbed me and started rubbing himself against me, oh my goss I never moved so fast 🏃♀️💨 I felt everything it was disgusting. Once my husband new he chased after the guy to beat the crap out of him but he got into his car and took off. I learned from that day on that when I’m in Egypt I’ll stand in front of my husband from now on, not wait for him some where else. Lol. Apart from that and a couple more bad things that have happened over the years while visiting Egypt. It is a great and lovely place, and most people are very very nice and are very welcoming and would help you with anything. So yer I look forward to going to Egypt every year to see my in laws and to see and do things that are different and will prob never get to see or do again in my life. LOVE YOU EGYPT!! 😘💖

@@KimoChaser yes I am also egyptian but I live overseas and when I came to egypt and talked about the country I grew up in (Sweden) People were speaking about foreigners as if thought they were fools, honestly and it is worse for women since they seem to think they're easy and will do anything they say? Just because a foreigner is nice doesn't mean he/she is easy or stupid in any way
Garments or not ~ men should keep there hands to themselves! Its that simple .. It is a woman's choice as to how she wants to dress- it's a man's choice to keep his hands to himself. THANK YOU, FOR A GOOD VIDEO ~
@@soggycastella or maybe they dress that way because theyre dedicated ? If you go to a woman in these countries and tell her she can wear these shorts and short sleeves they will most likely tell you no thanks , its not like these women aren't happy with the way they dress , there's no activists going against this , it's more of culture nowadays , most women in these countries wear hijabs because it gives them a sense of security and they become more comfortable
I like the sounds of Islam...the music. It really reminds me of our Orthodox chants (Byzantine). We also kneel a lot on the floor in church. Greetings from Romania.
Like everywhere there are good and bad people but you must be vigilant everywhere. I have met some people in Egypt I thought were real friends to find out the ones that weren’t ‘over the top’ and didn’t bother me and were just neutral were the real friends and still are today. Alhamdullilah
In Western countries sometimes dresses (or the lack of them!) are too revealing. In Arabic countries there is the other extreme. It would be good if it was in the middle.
Hi Sandra, thanks for putting forward your opinion :) I personally think dressing it a personal matter and should not be determined by society/family/etc. Clothes do not define a person and they can't give or take away someone's value.
you missed so much diversity and cultural wealth.it didnt feel like cairo to me.Keep safe and wherever y decide to travel never allow a stranger into yr personal space
Brave of you trying to capture something beyond the external appearances and usual touristic seen of Cairo although you weren't quite able to... And I say Cairo, because Egypt is not just Cairo. I guess one of the most striking features of Egypt is contradictions, although they exist everywhere, they are definitely more pronounced here. You stayed with an Egyptian Family, a middle class one and that is great because they represent an important disintegrating portion of the society. You should have emphasized more on that. Your camera angle were not good, but again who cares, you did a nice job trying, you are not a professional photographer/film maker I suppose. I liked the end seen with the shadows and all. Next time you are in Egypt, try to mix between overview footage and down in the street ones, try to show these contradictions, if you were able to spot them. Despite my love/hate relationship with Egypt, I still find it is a must see place for many reasons beyond the scope of my comment. Thanks for reading if you actually did get to this part :)
Hey Aly, thank you for your detailed and honest reply. I understand you and your opinions: It is a very diverse country indeed. About your criticism: this was the very first film I made in my life and that was two years ago. Maybe now you can apologise my technical imperfections ;) If you like you can follow up on the other videos on this channel.
This is obviously my sister's mistake. First when he put hand. To hold u supposedly to takr off so badly to teach him how bad and harm is This is forbidden in Muslim society. But the young man saw you from another country and tried to exploit
