She's incredible to watch, I think what stands out about her game most is her vision and passing ability and her ability to run the game from the point guard position. I imagine once her team mates get up to speed with her game and are ready for the pass at all times the team will be so much better.
She's comin along real nice. Already setting rookie records. Already has superstar popularity. And within a couple seasons she'll have superstar production as well.
Yea. It baffles me when people say all she does is shoot. It's like they've never seen any basketball games. Pretty much all the women's game is, is spot up shooting, driving for layups, or committing offensive fouls for points in the paint. There's nobody in the wnba that can create shots or draw any serious kind of defensive attention.
Cant wait for CC to be the captain and select her team in the 2024 All-Star Game! It’s likely to be the most competitive All-Star event, with everyone eager to get in on the action.🎉 also to spice up All Star, they will do Team USA versus selected WNBA all stars
Those who said she can’t defend, don’t know basketball. She’s got excellent basketball IQ. She got more blocks than Reese. She does so many little things that add up to good offense and defense.
She is starting to play within the Fever playbook instead of the Iowa playback. She looked more relaxed, more composed. Combine that with being stronger with the ball, not forcing things as much, resulted in less turnovers today. Plus her teammates are learning to play together, showing more chemistry than just a week ago. Imagine how good this team could be in a couple of years.
In another couple of weeks. They had a brutal schedule to start the season and were 1-8 after nine games. They are 4-2 since. There is some real talent on this team, and they are the youngest team in the WNBA. They have still played more games than any other team in the league and are now finally getting enough practices to learn how to play together. They're going to finish the season at or above .500.
This was personal, she wanted to send a message to those bullies on the sky with her game. This is her most complete game against her biggest adversary.
I don't think so😂 the team just finally had time to practice together, they finally clicked and had more chemistry Clark has no concern for the narrative others are tryna push on her for their own gain
Sick of hearing about turnovers. Isiah Thomas, my fav player, averaged 4.2 in 1982. Wemby had games with 9, 7, 6, and several with 5 his rookie year. Scoot had games with 9, 8, 7, and multiple with 6. I think Clark will prob be around 4.7-5 by end of season. And Lebron leads the NBA in total TOs by a large margin. Not saying she is as good as they are, but sheesh, take it easy. She is a brilliant unselfish passer.
@@renovo56 It was a basketball play that happens frequently in the NBA. It was correctly called as a flagrant 1, an unintentional shot to the head. When you say “thug” everyone knows you’d rather use another word.
Protect your star player you clowns, I have been loving the Wnba, and it was CC that got me and my little girls into it. Watching these women attack CC on TV is gross, I had to explain to my little girls why their favorite player is being attacked on the court.
@@d.block3148so you didn’t see her get slapped across her head today. Have you not seen them celebrating on other occasions because she got a hard unnecessary foul. Anyway that play angel did to her was wrong.
She turned a corner in this game. This is the most under control game she's played and she really let the game come to her in this game. She's a team-oriented player who sees the court so well and makes great passes. She still has a lot to work on but she's utilizing her developed tools well in this game.
If Resse had been even close to blocking the ball, I could see that play but it seemed that Resse mistook her head for the ball and instead of trying to match her shoes and playing the Joker, Resse went all Bat A Girl, Nanananana, Bat A Girl and Clark walked all of Resse new shoes - again.
1:13 all 5 of Chicago Sky players going after Caitlin Clark leaving all her teammates wilde open to take a shot. 😮 That team deserve to lose that game!
Someone forgot about Smith? Check who is out near the 3-pt line when she should have been down near the basket. Hint: she has one black legging and batman nemesis shoes.
USA Olympic selection committee [made up of fools] really screwed up not putting Clark in the team. Taurasi should’ve been left off. That old-time had her shots.
That old time has been one of the goats for a while now and has helped win 7 straight gold medals… it’s kind of like when they put magic on the team that one year when he hadn’t played in over a year
@@flamingoboot8874 Magic hadn’t already been on 5 Olympic teams. Plus, that was a History in the Making “Dream Team”. Thomas was left off. And he’s one of the Goat point guards. But he wasn’t on it because others knew MJ wouldn’t play with him. So Magic let the committee know that they didn’t want to play with Isaiah, but they wanted to play with the STAR, MJ. Well, CC isn’t just the STAR of the WNBA. She’s the STAR of ALL women’s basketball. Ppl in other countries would’ve flocked to see CC play. Absolutely no one is flocking, or even excited, to see geriatric Taurasi play. Or any other member of that USA-W squad. She doesn’t even have numbers as good as CC. This year, or comparing her rookie year also, where they put her on the team. Caitlin DOUBLED everything Diana did in college. It’s embarrassing for DT. I excuse for that bad decision. I just took you down with facts. Don’t bother replying because it will be a stupid argument that will be as dumb as their decision to say “F you CC, we don’t want to give you any more notoriety outshining us”.
@@flamingoboot8874 Seven straight? I gotta admit I didn’t know Diana was that amazing since she’s only been on five Olympic teams so far? She must be really magical. Or you can see into the future and that she’ll be on the team at 50 years old. Doesn’t matter. CC was a Twice as good a college player and the stats prove it, college GOAT for that matter. And she has better numbers her rookie year than DT. DT was on the team her rookie year. CC had better stats this year than DT. It was a BS political move that DT and BG are on the team and CC got snubbed. Really bad decision by the Olympic Committee since the Olympics are all about money nowadays that they let professionals instead of amateurs play everything. They don’t even play baseball in the Olympics any more BECAUSE IT WASN’T BRINGING ENOUGH MONEY. Now I gotta copy this since my replies go against the woke nonsense Ut00b loves and they already shadowed my first dressing down I gave you. They hate facts as much as you do at G00gl3.
Clark is the best thing that happened to Wnba ratings and everything going up...keep this woman in all the feuds and storylines..she is what's best for business
I said it before and I will say it again CC better than Diana Turasi. Stats don't lie. No one is guarded like CC. CC broke 45 records in the NCAA and didn't do it by playing on a team with stacked roster like Diana Turasi. Diana Turasi looks great only with good players around her but CC will be great even on a bad team by making the people around her good. CC is a true leader. She also supports the younger generation unlike Diana Turasi.
I still want to see obvious TEAM and friendly work and connections by The Fever and or to Caitlin, as I can see some slight indifference towards Caitlin by one or two of them. This was a good game as The Fever have won their two meeting with Chicago.
Yup, they iced her out half way through the first quarter and it became the Mitchell show. Kelsey would rather drive into traffic and throw up a brick than pass to an open Clark. She didn't get scoring again until the second half, she would have scored 30 plus if they weren't playing keepaway.
I have never in my life ever come close to watching WNBA highlights but here I am. To be clear: for Caitlin Clark; had to see what all the hate and hype is about
CC starting to get more comfortable and the Fever gelling a bit more. Defiantly the most complete performance so far. I guess it feels better against Chicago Sky too.
Chicago is not at good at putting pressure on Clark as the other teams. Doubling her off of screens, picking her at half court and otherwise getting in her passing lanes so she has to pick up her dribble is what other teams have been able to do in order to shut her down. Chicago can’t seem to do that.
""We won a game yesterday. We win today, that's two in a row. If we win tomorrow that's called a winning streak. It has happened before... " -- Lou Brown, Major League When was the last winning streak, by Lou's assessment, by the Fever? Keep getting better ladies. By the way, did somebody forget about Smith?
USA team didn’t want her bc of lack of experience 🌚 and what my eyes are seeing is not that they just don’t like her 😢 envy is real yall if the USA womans team don’t do shit this year we already know why 💀
Given what the WNBA and Fever have done to her, that was GENIUS by Clark. She was the orchestrator architect QB of that win EVEN while Fever intentionally left her 3 shot open looks ignored to "even the scoring" bs.
