@jackratcliffe2916. Some of what you said may be true, but it is not slowing Clark down. She seems to thrive on the adversity, almost like it is a personal challenge! Clark has such an 'eye' for passing trajectory, forward, behind the back... She is like poetry in motion!
The Indiana Fever Team is an extremely poorly run operation, with a lying inept incompetent contemptible useless coach who's god awful decisions as evidence in the games against Seattle, Chicago, LV, who luvs to plays musical players during the game, who's players are questionable at best. Coach Christie Sides has absolutely no idea what the blankety blank she's doing, and I believe deliberately sabotaged, have cost the team many lost games, along with a feckless GM Lin Dunn. It's only because of Caitlin Clark that the Indiana Fever are wining games, even in the running for being in the play-offs. Caitlin Clark is literally carrying the whole team by herself. When you are lucky enough to have a CC in your team, you got to understand that she is the center from start. Her game rules! Give her a season or maybe two, and voila you have the best player in the world and a team that almost always win... And all this infront of full Arenas.
Caitlin Clark is breaking ALL-TIME W(WE)NBA records with the 2nd half of the season left to play. Not just rookie records but all-time, long standing records in just half of a season. What makes her so special is the humility she has while doing great things. She’s not trying to pad her stats at the end of the game either like some other people. Magic needed a new head coach to reach the promised land. Jordan needed a new head coach to reach the promised land. The Fever need a new General Manager and a new Head Coach! The W(WE)NBA needs a new Commissioner to reach new heights!
Mainly you have turnovers because at least half due to your so-so teammates. And this is just a high number with every ball-happy players being the centerpiece of their team. Just normal stuff.
The reason I said people are setting her up for failure is it does not matter whether you are in the NBA or you are in the WNBA you are going to have bad games and you may have a streak of them especially your rookie year I saw Michael Jordan Miss 11 shots in a row the key for a shooter is to keep shooting because the law of averages will catch up and then you're liable to do like Michael Jordan did and hit 19 shots in a row after missing 11 shots in a row a shooter has to keep shooting the ball sure you feed you're open man that is closest to the basket before you ever shoot the ball that's not apparently what they are taught now but when I was young when you received the ball from another player or you were bringing the ball down the court the first thing you looked for was the open player especially when you were seeing that you were fixing to be double teamed that leaves a man open and when somebody else goes to that man then he feeds it to the man under the basket for the Easy Shot you are not supposed to think shoot first that is not what we were taught we were taught to make the assist to the open man closest to the basket first because that is the easiest shot but this is all diagnosed in your brain in less than a second you can see the open man you can see two men coming to guard you or in this case two women and make the past before they get on you a person should never stand there and get trapped and when a trap starts it's not just the person with the ball that should see it it is the person that their man left them that should see it that should get open so they can get a pass to them and I don't see Caitlin's team doing that for her and I think a lot of it is the coaching I don't think a lot of them are doing the things that they were taught when they were younger the basics and the fundamentals of basketball and yes I do know a little about it I did play 4 years of college ball which I started off for years and I started playing in YMCA when I was in 3rd grade and played all the way up which amazes me about a 6 ft 9 man Brittney Griner whose wife just had a baby that was impregnated by him so yes he is a man I was only 5 ft 8 point guard I could dunk the ball as a sophomore in high school this man is 6 ft 9 and he cannot dunk the ball on a woman in a game pathetic
