Also, unlike football, you are allowed to run picks to get the defending player off of the offensive player so they can get open looks to take shots. Today the fever were better at it. I started watching women's basketball because of Clark, but have been watching whatever games I can because I have the streaming subscription. There are several really good players that I've been trying to follow. For example, I can't stand watching Kelsey Plum in commercials and other media, but she's a good player and fun to watch on the court.

You got to know better than that. Angel is having a much better year. It’s not even close. She has had two 30 pt games so far and almost had a triple double tonight. She is really good right now and a lot of people are watching her. Not only that, but people are now watching the rest of the WNBA as well. Her popularity gives exposure to the entire WNBA and that, it would seem, is a good thing.

It’s just a matter of time for her to get physically stronger, see film, and transition into a more physical league. She will learn cuz she has a high BB IQ and it seems the team chemistry is getting better. It’s sad that there is animosity for whatever reason towards her, when all she wants to do is play and build up women’s sports!!! I truly hope she stays healthy, mentally strong and thrives!!! Biggest difference now is that she got those 7 points early, they put the clamps on her defensively,, but unlike a lot of the season to date, her teammates took advantage of the attention not being on them. And 9 assists, too. Some of those were sweet passes. But she got a few threes to remind the Sky she was still out there, and they still have to defend her out there.

I watched my first WNBA game Friday night. Watching Ms Clark was great, and she has some very good teammates. I was impressed. The opponents will continue to test her for a while to see how tough she is and what they can get away with. All a part of it. I'm a fan.😮

Key thing to that, though, if you watch carefully, Reese was going for the ball, and wasn't even looking at Clark. Did she get whacked? Yes. But I don''t think it was "I'm going to hit her hard just because". And, hard fouls when going after the ball by both, that's fine. That IS basketball, unlike some of the other stuff that has happened.
