It is not just horrible calls on CC, but the league generally have refs that would be fired from most rec leagues. The current speed of the game is too fast for them as they are in most cases out of position !!! They are inconsistent when applying hand checking & offense fouls !!!! Techs are another area that they are so inconsistent when applying. Example today a Wings player was called for an foul & walked the length of the court doing multiple double thumbs down gestures yet no T called for disrespecting the game of refs !!!!! I would recommend that the rookies & the incoming college stars go to the WNBA management as a group. They should demand professional, highly in shape & trained officials or they will head to Europe to make 10 times the salary !!!
Make no mistake about it, the WNBA is complicit in the attacks on Clark and the shameful officiating. She should play out the season and move on before they ruin her career by assault.
Giving a head shot like that to a quarterback is a personal foul. What is the WNBA pretending to be.Fever fans should be raining crap on these sick referees. Letting them walk away without paying the price has allowed them to believe they are above retribution. Obviously the league is to poorly guided to protect its assets so the fans had better or they won't have them. At home show a lowlights real of the ref.s of the game and introduce them at the start so the fans can communicate openly with them.
The REFS in the WNBA are the worst I've ever seen. They need better REFS. Caitlin scored 35 p0ints and damn if they didn't smack Clark around. Clark is taking a beating. Last. I love watching Arike Ogunbowale. She also rocks!
SO obvious how many WNBA people hate CC. Very sad that hate and jealousy have taken women's basketball to this ugliness. All that CC has been put through this whole season and she STILL shines class and professionalism on the haters. Take a lesson all jealous haters.

I’d hope to stop reading about the obvious brutally hateful violent assaults months ago. Ms Clark is a 🏆gifted and talented Godsend🏆 and those who could control the intentional bullying do absolutely nothing at all.

I have never in my life watched WNBA before, now I cannot get enough of watching CC play. She is an incredible BB player and a very down to Earth person. She is the REAL REAL!

The commissioner is responsible for the conduct of the officials. So is the head of officials. They have names. Cathy Englebert is the commissioner who’s not regulating this issue. @@RobertMirrey Problem I have with either of those ignored situations is that when it was discussed about CC, it was revealed that slapping the stanchion was an automatic tech foul. So enforce it equally.

CC is finding her rythm again. Even though she was hard fouled, the refs at least were fair in this game. The Wings and the Fever are honest teams. The Aces are actors who need to hard foul and fake foul to win games, same with the Lynx.
Stat keepers said 17% of all the flagrants in the league this year so far have been committed on Caitlin Clark. That's an insane number. I wouldn't stand for it if i could do something about it.

It amazes me! This has happened all season long. CC has played through all of it, especially the obvious bad calls. I am an old official and watch in amazement as she gets fouled more than any other player. There is an obvious vendetta against her. The WNBA is ignorant to allow this, allow I think they are culprit!

I expect a 40 piece before the year is over. The team has chemistry and it is still developing. Not sure about the coaching, but I don't want to be negative as i am a hoop fan and grateful for some interesting ball till the NBA gets its season started. I'd like to see Caitlin become more stoic despite the bad calls. She's hurting herself with useless appeals to the refs. It's unsightly. Be proud and show out. That should be your response. That game was really fun to watch. Incredible that it became so close after Caitlin's 4th quarter spurt. If she and Boston want to, they can be even more a guaranteed bucket in the 2 'man'.
I think the NBA leadership (commissioner, owners, veteran players, refs) needs to step up and say no more. The league will reportedly lose $50m - I say the NBA simply needs to stop funding until they straighten this mess out Absolutely ridiculous.

That’s such a bad take, CC pushes off on players who make physical contact with her body, all players have the right to do that. Defenders try to body her and she’s using their momentum to bounce off, if they were in good defensive position she couldn’t do it.
