Caitlin Clark Until stumbling over a news item, I had less than no interest in women's basketball, at any level. . One Second of seeing CC-22 impersonating Stephen Curry hooked me! The second second and I realized Caitlin Clark wasn't copying anybody! . Because what I know is based on clips showing her shooting half-court 3-pointers and making magical passes, reminiscent of Magic Johnson to Kareem when everyone in the stadium and home in front of their television KNEW the Sky-Hook was coming and nobody could stop it, I see patterns where the playing style of CC-22 is changing the team. Boston figured out that all she has to do is get below the basket, stick out a mitt and the basketball would appear in it. . Anyway, I think she is playing perfectly, playing her game and letting the team adjust to things like having a pass actually come to them, and supporting each others play. I think I see a team in name becoming a team in practice.
Sides needs to go. She is not a coach but only a cheer leader. Have you ever heard of John Wooden always loosing his voice coaching or Pat Riley or any good coaches. No because they are not screaming and clapping hands all game long every game like a cheer leader. Most absurd thing I have seen. This lady is not a coach. I was wondering if DT thought about coaching next stage of her career or she going commentator. Anyways bout anything would be better than this lady.
Ownership needs to wake up and get his head straight or he's going tio lose his key players after this season. He's making millions off his team but they are extremely disappointed with the coaching staff and you can see it with their mannerism. The team rallies around Caitlin because she is an inspiration to play with but when Christie Sides steps into the picture it puts a damper on everything. Consistency is what the team needs. The game between the Fever and the Liberty was the best game they've ever played. That should wake Sides up and focus on the top performers. Unfortunately her favorite players Wheeler and Wallace weren't able to play up to par for now. Point being as of Saturdays game if the wheel isn't broke don't fix it. You now have your top players out there that can keep up with the pace for you need to win . Wake up Christie, if you want to save your job. Your fan base are not happy with your leadership nor are the sports castors
2 times she should have challenged the call. 1. Kelsey was not out of bounds. No challenge. Ball went off fingers out of bounds off Liberty player. No challenge. Fever fouls shooter. Challenge lost. Sides 0-3 on challenges in one game. Yikes!
I’m going to give sides some rope. She is only in her second year and has half the roster that has only been in the league one or two years. But she is not getting fired. She led Indiana to a plus 8 wins her first year. The fever will win at least 18 games which would be a plus 5 wins. Indiana also has a good chance to make the playoffs. No way does a HC take the worst team in the league to playoffs play and get fired.
