6 years , 5 seasons and still no awards or formal recognition for sam and his incredible acting performances in every episode. Literally every episode he shines. I’ll never understand why he is passed up.
Was wondering the same thing. It's obviously not that he isn't talented. In fact his talent goes beyond acting. Praying for recognition of the value he brought to his profession.
Sam Heughan shines in every scene and kills the role. Without him Outlander woudnt be so heart warming. I think he is an incredible and charismatic actor and he doesnt need any awards to proove his worth.
I agree with you, for us, who know his work so well, he does'nt need any award. But for the continuation of his carreer he needs them. That's the way it is.
@@21stellaluna I agree 100 percent unfortunately that is very very true .... and it is a way of Sam being acknowledged for his hard work ... There has to be something else ...First of all I think at least two scenes were cut where he might have gotten some recognition one is in the EP faith and of course he was outstanding in the prison scene with Tobias...( Tobias has even been nominated) he will be a leading man in "its all coming back to me" with Celine and Pryanka ..but that is a a Rom Com they usually don't win ..however thee actors just might ...They have even added to that movie . changed the name and Celine wrote some of the songs...I sure hope he gets something there...but Outlander needs to do something ..write in a great script for him ..he can do it ...Time is running out for thee show I fear ..I hope he gets something soon ..He deserves it .
@@thekrayonkidsbookadventures I think Outlander is full of great scripts and Sam delivers to them all. There must be some other reason. Hollywood does'nt like people with truly good hearts that motivate their fans to be better people themselves. The film industry is corrupt and has no place for gentle souls. Sam is wise in directing his carrer into other directions. Producing his Men in Kilts, beeing an author , his whisky and Tequila, maybe one day going back to theater.....
@@21stellaluna I agree ...he does get some great scripts but some of them are cut ...I also agree that Sam Is humble and smart. you are correct the film industry is no place for gentle souls . it was one said that RDM was jealous of him ...who knows if that was true ..but he was the one who committed great sam scenes for time .:(
I think you can also tell he is dissapointed too on this video. He's happy for her but still, he was very dissapointed of course. Would have been such a well deserved win for him.
if they kept that clip in the episode of Faith that they cut out ...Sam would have won as well ..he was awesome in that....so heartfelt. ( when he got out of the Bastille and saw Claire after she miscarried. )

So what's the public opinion on Sam's odd reaction to Caitriona's win? Usually he can't keep himself from praising her, so I doubt it's just jealousy popping up..
I don't believe it's jealousy at all. Sam is her number 1 supporter. He was mad because PR has to be done and MM had to go along, so he couldn't be his normal cheerful, supportive self.

Each time I see this reminds me of Caitronia receiving her award, she stood nakedly extending her hand her face near to tears, thanking him for being her partner, I was surprised, Sam was stoney faced. But of course we hadn’t realised at that time not only had they married but had a child but were unable to declare it because of contractual obligations. Absolute rubbish should never have been able to deny these two wonderful people their happiness.

Cane across this accidentally...But, what is going on with Sam Heughan and Mackenzie Mauzy? He looks almost mad - Is it uncomfortable with the 3 of them> Is he mad he did not win for actor - which he definitely should have? whatever is going on, it is sad to see from 2 people who seemed to be kindred spirits and it did not seem like a PR stunt. Hope it can be resolved for the god of all of them.
Sam was very uncomfortable with that M chick you could tell. If you look at Sam face when Cait is thanking him, etc you can see the mutual love & respect they have for each other
Which year was this? Sam was already dating Mackenzie? Was Cait already dating Anthony? I can't tell if he's sitting at the table or not. And who's the Michael she thanks to in her speech?
I agree 100% as jamie and claire said and i m not mixing their life with a fiction. What it us between us. When i touch you and when i look at you... never saw that between sam gf and caitriona husband...they are for sure attracted as we saw at chemistry test but also as they say it several time they they are hot...i also agree that it is caitriona who break up. Not only because she does not want to have love affair with co worker but because sam was immature think about career and her wanting to build private life. However what it is between them is exceptional and i m glad that we have been able to see it from initiation growing to hope not end... if they met in a movie they might be together now and not because work 10 months per year
Sam has great respect & admiration & ?? for Cait you can clearly see it in his eyes. As to rather that is really his girlfriend (the blonde), any pictures you ever see of those two together their is no chemistry at all, they just don't fit together at all.
It was a set up. I saw a video of this night. Sam was Not sitting next to MM. He and Cait switched places as she was called up for her win. Original seating: MM, Cait, Sam, Tony. Cait kissed Sam when she won. Sam had to move next to MM as she was slated as his 'date' to further the official narrative.@@thekrayonkidsbookadventures
