Living in Pensacola is only a 3 hour drive to New Orleans. I've done several swamp tourns and just love them. Maybe next time do a tour in an air boat! Totally a different experience!
Brings back childhood memories of the deep South. The newspaper clipping was from the Times Picayune, the major New Orleans paper. But it's probably even more impressive considering the New Orleans food culture.😊❤❤❤
Swamps are interesting environments. Makes you wonder how all those birds and other creatures can live around alligators. Thanks for the tour and food review! 😎
Very cool! I know the small alligator when I was in the Everglades on a tour. Very cool when I was a kid in the 70s and lived in Florida snapper soup used to come in the Campbell’s can.😱😂
What a wonderful Video . With so much crap going on in the world right now , it is so nice to see someone made happy with such simple things . Thanks for sharing .
Get yourself a mini rice cooker and you can make coffee you can make soup make rice make stew absolutely anything and it’s safer than a portable fuel 👍🏻💯burner
I use to travel in and around Louisiana . There were a lot of red small traps in the fields for crawl fish . Love the state great people . Just remember when you get close to the water an alligator can jump out the water very fast . I have been on that tour really cool .
I am all for adventure, but I don't think I am as brave as you ,... couldn't hold an alligator! But sure cute. Thanks for taking us along on your journeys. Tina
Many decades ago I also enjoyed enjoyed taking one of the bayou swamp tours, and was able to see everything that you did, minus the mom and baby alligators. Glad you enjoyed your time, and food, while visiting in Louisiana! Thanks for sharing it all with us, and looking forward to your next video. Take care, stay safe, and enjoy your travels! 💕 💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾 always will be missing sweet Chase! 🥲 Three months today since my beloved 13 year old Cavachon girl passed 🌈💔
Awesome vlog. That soul food looked amazing. Also so cool that you got to hold a baby alligator. I look foward to next weeks vlog and your upcoming adventures you always share with us. 😊
I couldn’t get over the gorgeous trees in the swamp! My favorite trees are Weeping Willows, quaking aspens, evergreen trees and palm trees. Now I’m adding your swamp trees to the list! Thank you! ❤

Glad your enjoying Louisiana!! (My home state) Just can’t beat the food here! It’s in a category all by itself!!! I am curious as to where you’ve been staying along the way, especially the New Orleans area..
Fried crawfish pistol let smoked Boudin and crawfish you can't go wrong with that. Those would probably be my last meal request if I was on death row lol
