Thank you for 44 great years, Little Rock! Please visit us at one of our sister restaurants, Capers Restaurant in West Little Rock or Copper Grill in Downtown Little Rock. We're serving up Cajun's Wharf favorites there!
The creation of every detail and development of every recipe and work of antique art and decor I watched my father, Bruce Anderson put together as he drew the architectural (self taught) plans for his dream restaurant he would name Anderson's Cajun's Wharf, opening in 1974, and becoming an Arkansas destination place that would break restaurant sales records nationwide for years, earning him Restaurateur of the Year in 1975. Almost every car you saw in the late 70's and 80's sported an orange and yellow 'Play De Do' bumper sticker🤗 The huge industrial, riverside, block long parking lot would be filled and there would be a line two to three hours long waiting to get in. It was an incredibly wonderful place to be...Cajun's Wharf, "back in the day". Who over age 50 or 60 doesn't remember, love and miss Dad, the Heart, Soul and original owner/creator of Anderson's Cajun's Wharf? Sadly he passed over at the young age of 57 in 1992🧜♂️👑 Glad that several years after opening, Dad had hired Mary Beth Ringgold (I believe she was only 18) who would later rescue it from the boring Landry's lol thanks to Mike Warr. ⚜ 🦀🦞Laissez les bons temps rouler🎷🥂 Love, Tammy💋💋
