Not really, depend which products you talking about, you can find a lot of vending machines with products that are chimic af and you feel it in when you consume them, like majority of the sodas and majority of the sweet things
I liked it up until that part. Cans are recyclable easily. Plastic is often just more waste. I would love to see this product remade as a normal canned food.
Don’t knock ‘em until you’ve tried ‘em. These things are incredibly tasty, using fresh and pure ingredients. The Japanese do things like this brilliantly, time and time again.
@@maccagrabme Someone didn't hear about inflation? Or you're just incredibly lucky to live somewhere where a product like this doesn't cost 8$ US I guess.
Man. Bacon how I envy you. I once traveled around the world. This stuff wasn't there when I did. That's why I miss the night market vids. Trying all the different foods. Being from the USA. It was a lot fun with interesting flavors. I'm even 1 of the few that enjoyed durian fruit. I had some yesterday in fact. Thanks for the videos. It's still feels nostalgic to me.
@@daintyduck8517 not really, you can find it at some fruit/vegetable or international markets but not much anywhere else. they can be pretty hard to find in shops
@@Vicflairdrip Try to do a trade or invest in a better career. You're still young; when you are in your 30s it gets harder to get a career or change them. It's expensive to travel the world if you don't have a sponsor or any background money (such as your family.) A lot of people can do it because of their job, a sponsor giving them money to do reviews, stuff like Twitch/RU-vid, family wealth, etc.
@@AdachiCabbage very nice advice! I don’t know if it takes too much time to day trade but I’ll definitely look into it. Life is hard but we are humans, we learn to adapt. I don’t want to be poor forever
There's a Japanese video on YT and it says these are made by professional pastry chefs and the prices were lower on that video. I would guess it's a refrigerated vending machine. Hope it comes to the USA. 😃
What I find Amazing ( besides the concept ) is the way the "circles" of jelly/fruit/fruit pieces are presented to the customer... It's such a perfect symetry... It's original...
@@SemekiIzuio I guess that perhaps the cake with its different parts and fruit pieces is first baked then assembled then wrapped inside that transparent can ?
@@jeromewagschal9485more likely just assembled by hand into the can. A slice of cake is placed inside, then strawberries arranged, then filled with the cream, and so on
At first i thought cake in a can would be a pretty stupid idea. But actually, it really looks like a good product. It is less cake and more cream, so you can actually eat it easily out of a can. And a can is a pretty good way to keep oxygen and germs out of the food. That the can is transparent is a nice touch. Bit expensive for vending machine food - but it also isn't the normal stuff to be found in vending machines here... Would definitely try it.
its just cream in a can with a hint of cake and fruit for the price of a real cake. what kind of person falls for this legalized form of street robbery?
@@googlekonto2851 Humans are impressed by anything from Japan. This dessert looked gross, all that cheap whip creme which takes most of the space with little to no cake.. just another scam tourists fall for.
The last one looked like our Flan that we make for holidays in Puerto Rico and USA. It has a brown sugar bottom and custard like pudding very sweet and delicious!
Japan and Korea get all the dope stuff. When I did my study abroad in Korea I was blown away by the self-service conveniences and not to mention the quality that everyone can enjoy at just about any time.
$8 US dollars for nasty whip creme and a few strawberries and some cake?? no thanks diabetes. People are easily impressed by things with a Japanese name.
In Brazil (I'm sure the same must happen in other countries), people have been selling these for quite a number of years, especially students at universities and owners of small businesses. They haven't, however, sold it in cans; rather, the cake comes in square or round plastic containers.
Huh... at first i thought it was absurd to even begin to think that this would work, i mean how is there even a market for canned cake? But then you opened the can and honestly that actually looks pretty good, not only in how it looks but how you eat it since it's like if you were eating ice cream from a mini tub.
When I was in France this summer, I remember being so excited to try out a pizza vending machine for the first time. It wasn’t good as a proper one but wasn’t half bad as expected. I wonder if this cake in a can is like that. We need this machine here in the UK.
I wish we could get these in the States, they look so good! Of course, when you live in rural area and the only store bought cakes you can find are all bake off frozen cakes or pastries, anything like this looks amazing.
tbh you can just bake a cake mix, put a lot of whipped cream, some jam/fruits/nuts/etc... on top and you would get something that tastes similar. Remember to put on a lot of cream. This is more canned cream than canned cake lol
@@HO1ySh33t it's not the point. I know I can bake these at home, I'm a decent baker. The point is, I want to experience *these*, made by this company, in their own little unique way! But thank you for the suggestion!
Those canned cakes look so amazing, I wish we had this In the U.S. My mouth is watering.❤ Can someone find the troll in the comment.. raise your hand when you find them ✋🤚.. key word if chicken 🐔
These people are so creative. Oh man! The can looks fabulous. Who would have thought they are cakes in the can and not a drink! I want to try this…where can I find this?
I agree these canned cake looks amazing, but there are A TON of really good bakeries in the US. There are also a lot of good cake in groceries that don't cost as much as these canned cakes.
What an interesting take on yummy looking cakes! It’s amazing how novel packaging draws me into wanting to try it out. Another satisfying video from DancingBacons! 😋😋
@@notsunshinecountrychickens you can’t make this experience, though. Anyone can make a burger at home, but making a burger is a whole separate world from getting something at a restaurant. Not at all the same experience.
@@featheryfemme A restaurant is food made according to your order just prior to eating fresh food as the nutrients havent degraded due to oxidation, amibience and being waited on. Vending machine purchase provides none of this and is the lowest trashiest form of procuring food besides dumpster diving and roadkill
@@featheryfemme So a conversation about vending machines turns into a personal attack. You really shouldnt go there with a face like that, move along you arent worth my time
I love how you see what you're gonna get because the can is seethrough and they all look so pretty that you'd never realize until you scrape the sides off. They all look really delicious, too! I wish I could get some cause I'm definitely craving for it now (sadly, i live in another country and really good cakes are expensive).
As cool as this is, I don't think I'm comfortable with my cake being in a can. Don't get me wrong, it definitely looks 100% fresh, but I prefer my cake to old fashioned way. Also that was a LOT of whipped cream. More cake and less cream 😋
I can't believe you can go into a mall that's closed and just help yourself to vending machines. In Canada when the mall is closed you are not allowed anywhere near it until about an hour before it officially opens. In my town they will open the mall up to seniors to do their power walks for exercise in the morning.
The old people power walking mall near me recently closed. The only other mall is in an...'enriched' area of town where crime is too bad for old people to walk. Now they're not able to socialize as much and it's sad.
I've been watching your videos for a long time, and I will say one thing u 2 go everywhere and have amazing adventures. One day when your old u can definitely say that u didn't waste your life stuck on a couch and u will have great memories. So happy 4 u both, enjoy coming along on your adventures. Iam not able to do things like that and iam much older, but it's nice u share your adventures with people who can't. I enjoy watching and coming along. Get it all in before u start a family. But then don't stop take the kids on all the adventures with you. Love u guys, stay safe.
Oh hey! I've seen these a few times on youtube by now. Super cool to see you try them out too!! what's surprising me the most is how perfect all the cans look
Really it's just one of those cakes in a plastic container that you can get from a kiosk at any airport in the world... but packaged in a can which makes it look novel. I'd give it a buy, once at least. You can surprise someone with the gimmick to make their day special.
I dunno, this seems kind of bizarre and impractical to me. 1. The shape of the can doesn't really work with this kind of idea, a cake should be more flat so you get an even dispersal of ingredients with every spoonful - which is interesting because I don't really see any reason why the vending machine concept couldn't work with flat, cookie-tin-shaped containers (with a little modification of design, of course). 2. Cold cake is kind of a turn off for me, I'd prefer it to be at room temperature but refrigeration seems like kind of an essential step here in order to prevent spoilage so I don't know how they would remedy that. I guess you could just let it sit for a few minutes before you eat it but again, this seems kind of impractical.
@@CopiousDoinksLLC they remind me a lot of mousse cups which are always cold. tbh i kinda forgot there was room-temperature cake until i read this comment, a lot of the cakey desserts i eat are ones that have to be kept cold 😂tiramisu for example. but yeah i really think here it's more the novelty people are buying them for. they look great though
@@CopiousDoinksLLC It seems impractical because you just don’t like it 😂 Not everything you dislike is “impractical”..other people enjoy cold cake (I do!) and some don’t care about even ingredients every spoonful. it’s very practical to those who actually like it
