Awesome review. My next Saber is definitely this Cal Kestis. I really like the SN-Pixel v4 range of sabers. I recently purchased the 'Judger' and 'Phantom (Ghost)' and have already started modding them. I've changed the Phantoms default voices (in the 'set' folder) to a much clearer female British voice and the Judger to a very deep male American voice. Each now say the proper blade and ignition styles like 'Fire blade', Stable blade', 'Rainbow blade' and 'Standard Ignition', 'Stacked Ignition' etc. I've even altered what it says when they power off to "Power Off. May the Force be with you." I've also figured out how to alter the config file to change the blade activation times to match each font. Slowing them down or speeding them up. It's almost identical to Xenopixel. The difference being in the file names and some commands. I'm relatively new to the Pixel Saber scene and I'm loving it.
Just fyi your hilt is programmed for a longer blade. You can tell because some of the effects are not centered. But then again you have a million cool lightsabers decorated in your room so you prbably already know.
Do you know why some versions of the TXQ survivor saber have the extended LED chamber below the board and some just have a ring of LED lights around the speaker? Also the pommel cap on some don't have the grills on the side, just a couple vents? Mines coming direct from TXQ and I won't know until it arrives haha
I imagine they have just updated the design. Mine was probably one of the first so I’m sure you will receive the improved hilt now. TXQ have a habit of doing that. Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati’s sabers are prime examples.
@@saber_life great! You don't find that the LED module muffles the sound from the speaker at all? Especially with the pommel cap on top of that as well?
@@saber_life mine just arrived, it's the model with the mostly enclosed pommel, just 3 single open lines, and the LED lights are only fixed to the bottom of the speaker, no extended LED module... 😌
@@saber_life yah got one xeno3 cause they had a good deal and very surprised to find all the sounds from star wars are removed no quotes and no music. Next one will be sn4
@@dislikecounter5191 it’s annoying they have done that, but I guess it’s down to copyright. I have a whole bunch of Star Wars sampled sound fonts that I copy over and replace on all the LGT Sabers now.
@@saber_life yah was either gonna make my own, ask the seller of they still have all the fonts or try and buy a cheap sn4 then move the fonts over and get them to work
