Battle of Bossier City for Band Supremacy! @GoinBandRaiderland @TexasTechRedRaiders @texastech @ttupom8917 @berkleymods @UCBerkeley @BerkeleyNews @UCBerkeleyEvents
Tim! Thanks for this. I did not make it (Thanks, COVID!) so I am thrilled to have your videos. Great work, as is your standard. Let's call this the Battle of the Bathroom. Gotta say, though outnumbered and outgunned, I loved how Cal Band responded to Tech's energy and made this more fun to watch. Way better showing than what we got from either of those Junior Varsity bands from Mississippi the previous two bowls.
Cal did an excellent job holding their own. There was 1 song in particular that the beat slowed...I loved their arrangement of it. But overall...Goin Band and Cal had an AWESOME showing! Cheers! :)
@@joelruiz3888 Hi Joel! Member of the Cal Band here! we often are larger however because the bowl game was the same week as our finals week, only about 1/2 of the band was able to attend. That being said the Goin' Band is also large even with our full membership!
Hey Tim! Big fan of the Goin Band! Thanks for all these clips. My favorite band member is Anthony Craft! He student taught at my school with Stephen Rodriguez (Band Director at Lubbock High!). Say whats up to him please! If he asks my name is Sebastian. I hope to get in touch with him because I need to ask him about percussion stuff for my school. Thanks Tim!
I don't think i will see him but my son probably will. Senior Trombone. I'll pass it on to him and he should at some point run into both. During off season, he does play at the high school regularly. :)
Quick question for you Tim. What is the name of the song/chant at 7:21? I have heard the band play the tune before but I haven't ever been able to find any information about it.
@@timarmy1 I was just saying bc I’ve been on a Texas band binge. lol. The most common thing I see is every band adding things to it making their own which is cool. It’ll be cool to see them do a show together. They don’t do it that often anymore and now it’s gonna be even less often.
