The Ganon fight live was peak "Jerma has ungodly timing." He's so far behind the whole time, but then chat gives him a shortcut to the end, giving him a chance. He struggles with the fight up until the last 2 minutes of the challenge, and Jexes his way to beating Ganon with less than 30 seconds remaining. Only to find out there's a 2nd phase.
"I can beat this game without getting hit once" becomes "I can beat this game on stream without getting knocked down" becomes "I haven't beaten this game before"
Didn’t he say that every knock down in super punch out is 1 minute of totk? So he technically owes us 3 mins of the game. He should owe 100 hours but we got duped with save states.
My favorite part of Jerma's BOTW streams is where he constantly has to reassure chat "No, no, I like this game... I'm having fun..." like they're a bunch of toddlers who are showing him the WORST macaroni art in the class
Actually so funny, this game came up when he said he bet he could beat it damageless. Then he walked that back to without getting knocked down. And then as he streamed it he got to the point of getting knocked down over and over and abusing save states until he finally came to the conclusion that he has never beaten it
I was cry laughing the entire Hyrule Castle sequence, knowing dam well he wouldnt make it in time or that he wouldnt know about the second phase. Maybe one of the funniest Jerma streams ever
Jerma’s three settings while playing BotW are complaining nearly to the point of saying he hates the game, insisting to chat that he doesn’t hate the game, and E3 gamer dialogue to pretend he doesn’t hate the game
I still dont know if Jerma actually likes BotW. One minute he says its fun then the next minute someone says they dont like it and he doesnt say he disagrees... but he also doesnt say he agrees with the people that like it. Truly a centrist andy.
@@svennevs5740 I agree tbh. Although he is like this with every game when I think about it, people ask him if he likes a game and he just retreats into "offend nobody centrist mode" lol.
@@YouMystMe True, I wish he were more honest about how he feels. He didin't hesitate calling Twilight princess chlorine, might as well state how he feels about the game he is playing.
I remember delibretly trying to get hit by Dark beast gannons lazer attack for like 5 minutes but not geting hit at all, watching Jerma get hit by the first lazer was so fucking funny to me
I mean his main complaint was overcomplicated controls, and TOTK controls are even worse tbh. To fuse a weapon you have to open a wheel, select fuse, hold up on dpad, scroll through a menu, press x, press l and then y.
@@TheSilly6403That's not entirely fair to BOTW or TOTK, jerma has trouble listening to and absorbing tutorials and he rarely locks in controls. What's worse is that he didn't play this for, like, 5 months and then 2 months beforehand. It's so bad people are joking about it in this very same comment section
@@TheSilly6403yeah but in terms of literally any video game these controls ARENT over complicated. Jerma can barely read much less process a tutorial. It’s kinda just.. and I hate to word it like this a skill issue for his brain. It’s not uncommon for steamers to be like that though, most streamers, especially the ones I like (vinesauce, jerma, etc) play games for a living but have about the skill as if it was their first game in a given genre in 50 years and they never learned how to read, lol. It wasn’t on the game, jerma isnt built for anything that thinking, and that’s respectable. Still shocked he somehow plays fromsoft games and beats them
@@HabitualThinker Koishi pfp! :D Also to be totally honest, I love and play fromsoft games all the time, and one thing I love about them is how their controls really just are simple and make sense. Jerma has said in the past that he is great at games with only two or three buttons, and I'd say he's right. His punch out stream right after this was proof of that lol. TLDR Jerma play Touhou plz
Tears of the kingdom is way worse than breath of the wild in every aspect, especially the game design as a whole. It's fine if you like it more but don't pretend it's better.
Clearly coping. Didnt have fun+ L + miserable the whole way + forced to play it + never playing it ever again, or any sequels ever + self-conscious about disliking a universally adored game.
To the people saying Jerma didn't like BOTW, it's fine if that's the case, but I'm not sure. He streamed it 10 times and to completion, that'd be difficult if it weren't at least enjoyable. And the counter to that is obviously "He felt pressure to play it" or "He needs the views", but Jerma's at a point where 1) He's 37 and can stand up for his feelings, and 2) his career is not such that he needs to compromise for content.
i don't want him to play TOTK. not because I'm gatekeeping, but because that game REQUIRES a minimum of 55 hours and he wouldn't be good at it at all. Everything would be against him, he barely got through this while having fun.
I noticed the mods delete chat messages and ban so many people for insulting the game or complaining about Jerma’s skill and it was both hilarious and bizarre. Someone joked about it being a game for kids and their chat message was deleted within 5 seconds.
“Grrr people insulted MY streamer!!” I mean being fair RU-vid commenters are the same way. God forbid you complain about how a streamer acts on a RU-vid vid or something, they’ll be on your ass like you were debating their fuckin religion
The duality of chat complaining about him NOT playing botw vs chat complaining about him FINALLY playing botw is insane. I’m kinda surprised he went back to it lol
How young an audience is can be best measured by how much they care about Botw. Nobody cares about this game even one tenth as much as Tumblr teens do. And its crazy because even they aren't into the game nearly as much as they are into fan content surrounding the game.
Yeah, just look at the game ratings and sales man, EVERYONE knows this game sucks, you are definitely not a minority, just look at TOTK, like, tears of the who?!
@@sefatsilverlake3816what do you think I said? I don't think I said nobody bought or liked the game. I swear this happens any time someone says something that isn't overwhelmingly positive about this game.
