Good luck man, I’m trying to get out there also soon. Right now there’s Tarpon at the end of the jetties. And lots of speckle trout running up and down the first cut on the beach! Take some top water for the morning and evening, spoons during the day!

Thanks man! If you do make that drive, Monday through Thursday is the best times to go . Friday through Sunday is rough trying to find a fishing spot because it gets crowded!!!! If you get there a hour before the gates open at 6 am you should be good! They always biting off shrimp bites. I like using live perch or Tilapia.

I use the cast net to get my live bait off the bank.

I want to believe it’s safe. I’m pretty sure they do testing, but who knows. I have met people that will not eat them , I have met people like myself that will batter them up and sizzle them up. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I eat fish from there all the time! No issues and yes, they test yearly for contaminates

Live Tilapia and live perch. I’m pretty sure that one was live Tilapia.
