This tip has been extremely useful when trying to scout for calcified canals or get past those things called "blockages".......The C+ file is stiffer than a conventional file and has a cutting tip - which is good and bad. I just reviewed one article that took a compared the mechanical properties of pathfinding instruments, looking at the C-pilot, Scout RaCe and the Pathfile.
