QUESTION - If the KVA sizes are different between the PM and the Alternator which KVA is to be divided into to obtain the Fault Current, I can see a view for both ways given the period is so short, Eg the PM could force an abnormal condition due to it's goal of maintaining speed or Using the Alternator KVA as that is the Electrical output, My point is the PM could power thru momentarily to create an abnormal condition.
