Thanks! The NSPH available was about 51ft head (as calculated and shown by the Pipe Flow Expert software). We did not show the NSPH required since we set the pump to a specified flow rate and asked the program to calculate the pump head required to achieve that flow. If we had defined the pump with a flow versus pressure loss performance curve then we would also have entered the NPSH required data against each flow rate point on the curve, and in this case the software would have checked the NPSHa was greater than the NPSHr (and warned us if it wasn't). Note: this video is of an old version of Pipe Flow Expert from 2008 and the latest version of the software has many additional capabilities when it comes to modeling pumps (it can model complete pump performance across its range of speeds and impellers).
