Use the bathroom before the flight, pick a window seat to lean your head against the side. Also, this is the ideal seat for introverts!

I have a bit of a phobia of seeing or hearing (or even knowing about) people vomiting, so the aisle seat terrifies me: what if someone has to climb over me to get to the restroom when they are about to vomit, and they end up vomiting on/near me? Just the thought of that makes me want to never fly again. So I choose the window seat, wear noise-canceling headphones, crank up the music, close my eyes, and pretend no one else is around.
@ellengrace4609
@ellengrace4609 9 месяцев назад
Interesting. I don’t mind getting up for others, but I also don’t mind when others need to stand up so I can get by. If they’re annoyed because I need to use the restroom - a very reasonable need - then that’s their issue, not mine.

I refuse to sit anywhere but the Aisle seat for a few reasons. 1. My social Anxiety can not handle asking people to move let alone wake them up to ask them. 2.Easier for me to get out and get my carryon than it is for middle and window 3. For some reason I feel safer there. (I have a fear of Flying takeoff I get through okay and landing Is a bit worse for me since the plane goes sideways as well it can be a bumpy landing. The turbulence absolutely terrifies me. )
@TI1G
@TI1G 9 месяцев назад
For short flights I agree, for long flights (+ 4 hours) I would go with 44J ⭐️ only during take of and landing you have the inconvenience of leaving your bag on the overhead compartment and have the TV hiding in the seat. But once you are on the air, you can take your bag and put in on the floor in front of you, having enough space to lift you feet on top of you bag, lean on the wall next to the the window, and sleep live a baby. And anytime you have to go to the bathroom or need to stand a little, you don’t need to bother anyone because you have enough space Thant you can just walk in front of the other people seating next to you. I’ve done this in a 11 hour flight and it was worth paying the reserved seat, best long flight I’ve had
@OrigamiMoons

The seats in the front have a ton of leg room and none of that weird “excuse me” to use the bathroom. Those are my absolute favorite. Window seat preferred too
@doperagu8471
@doperagu8471 3 года назад
Yup! I go for those bulkhead seats that don't cost extra like the emergency exit row seats! The only downside is there is a **chance** you might be near a baby, as that's also where they have the attachments for babies. Buuuuut I've found this only happens a fraction of the time. So it's worth the risk, especially on longer flights where that extra leg room is crucial. Plus, while I'm short, my partner is 6'2" so the extra leg room is extra crucial for him!

@@synewparadigm Not usually and even so it's one of the most structural parts of a plane. In a crash the tail often separates. However surprisingly this is a good thing as it stops much sooner than the rest of the plane leaving you away from pesky things like fire. And the horizontal and vertical stabilizers keep the entire cabin from rolling when it separates. Usually the last row of seats in the tail are all that's left and crashes.

I always take the window seat. I love looking out of the window, it's the best part of flying. Also, I can't sleep when I'm not sitting on a window seat. In window seats you can put your head against the wall, in aisle seats you're trying to make yourself comfortable somehow and when you finally manage to one of the people next to you will have to get out. THIS! I’m a bigger person and it’s so irritating getting an aisle seat or being smushed between two strangers. The aisle seat, if I don’t sit uncomfortably close to the person next to me, then people brush me as they walk by in the aisle. I like to sleep on flights and I hate wanting to sleep and getting woken up to move for someone to go to the bathroom then you gotta stay up to move for them to sit back down… Hate the middle seat cause I don’t like being smushed between two people, I feel super awkward. Window seat ftw. Can lean my body into it, also love the views & don’t have to move at all unless you personally need the bathroom. From a selfish standpoint, It feels better having others move for you than having to move for others when it comes to the bathrooms, but that’s why I make sure to use it before I get on flights and wait till I get on the flight for drinks. I do my eating before I board the flight

This is pretty common if a flight isn’t sold out. People prefer to move to the front so the back empties out and you’re more likely to get a row with and empty seat or a whole empty row to yourself

@@adorabell4253 so it's better to book a seat at the back then? Just so if there are rows free you can take it

My flight India Russia was like, sitting in the back near the toilet, people were using my seat to keep standing, on my right a grandma who wanted to go toilet every 10 minutes, and by the end of the flight she finally dropped her coffee over my clothes and stuff. Shit.

This is for short people. Tall people have long legs and the only seats where you can stretch them are the emergency exits seats.

The front seat in the middle part wasn't all too bad on my last flight. It was a lot of leg room...but the TV was far away on the wall and the table was a fold out 😅 To get your meal first...I needed diary free so got my meal first everytime. It was hit and miss as it was a healthier option meal.

Hey, I'm 6'5 and I've often been offered a move to an exit row by the ticket checker or the flight attendant. I really appreciate it, thank you!

My brother and usual travel companion is 6'6, so I often sit with him in those rows. Since I'm always very polite to the staff, I always find somewhere nearby to stash my belongings too 👍🏼

@@blackeyedsusan727 lmao that makes sense. I am 6'3 and the emergency window seats are the only ones us tall people can survive on
