Tutorial on the perfect competition using calculus. In this tutorial I prove that profit is maximized when Marginal Revenue = Marginal Cost (MR = MC). This is typically taught in a microeconomics class.

Thanks! I have not had calculus yet but I still found this helpful in understanding why this is so. I have had pre-calculus algebra. If others watching have not had calculus yet, you might still want to watch it as long as you have some algebra.

Great video. I would have one request that you bring in a little more of why things happen. Great explanations of what happens, but I still go away feeling that I have to remember what happens instead of being able to deduce what happens because I know why they happen.
