Sorry to be off topic but does anybody know a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my account password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
I was raised by my grandma but she never taught me how to cook she always said "if you want to learn just watch me" she passed away a couple years ago and honestly I couldn't be more happier finding your channel. I've always wanted to learn how to cook caldo de res and pozole. Thank you so much!❤️
Dios mio! Gracias a dios! My mother passed away 2010 from cancer. And she used to make this caldo. I have looked on the internet and youtube but could never find a recipe similar. I gave up. Until today! This is just like hers! Thank you so much...I am making this for my family this weekend. I thank you and your grandmother and mother! Bless you both! Love...from Texas!
I prefer watching her over any chef any day. 1 abuelita can take the place of 100 chefs. She makes it just like I was taught by mine. I want to give your abuela a hug! Beautiful!!
It's so good to see you learning from grandma. So many of us regret not doing that. I just loved to eat both my grandmothers cooking and never got in the kitchen to learn. Man thing I guess.
I love that you do this with your grandma, i always look for authentic mexican recipes to make for my husband and im so happy i found this channel! Saludos!
love the recip. learned how to cook a lot of meals from watching and impressing the hubby. its nice to be able to have the information in English and Spanish.
Love your abuelas cooking. I can't stop watching your guy's cooking videos. I stop watching food network, ever since I started watching your abuela's cooking. Thank you and your abuela for making it easy for me to cook. Gracias 😊
Finally !!!!!! I find someone who actually knows how to cook the right Mexican way like my mom !!!!!
Thank you for sharing these vids... Your grandma reminds me of my grandma from the way she cooks to the way she talks too!!!! (Tear) God Bless you all!!!
Thank you so much, I love Mexican food, I'm having so much fun learning how to make things, just want to say thanks, your videos are so easy and I can follow easily.
I wish my mom was still here to teach me. I lost her last year and this was my favorite dish growing up that she used to make. I'm so thankful to learn from abuelita and that I found her channel so I can learn all the dishes my mom used to make.
I’ve always wanted a grandma since mine passed away when I was a baby but Abuelita makes me feel as if I knew mine. Gracias Abuelita for all the wonderful recipes you’ve shared! I’ve learned so much & have made so many great dishes thanks to your help. My husband &family are enjoying the fruits of your labor. Thank you to your beautiful granddaughter for putting out these videos. You’re greatly missed but will live on in our hearts. R.I.P.
What a blessing to cook and learn alongside your grandmother and mother. I lost my grandmother years ago and my mother 6 months ago and I wish I had learned so much more. Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. She's very feisty and cute and you can see the love between you all! Of course, the caldo de res looks SOOO good. I'm gonna make some for my Daddy, who is sick, later on today. God bless your family.

Aww you are so blessed to be able to cook with your grandma. I love watching your videos, they remind me of my childhood when my grandma would come stay with us and cook every day for us.
Tocaya, your grandmother is just adorable. You have such a beautiful relationship, and she always has me in stitches. I just love her, hugs to both of you. Thank you for making my day, que Dios las bendiga.
Good Morning Ladies. I just came across your channel and I cant stop watching. This takes me back to my grandma Irene's kitchen. Im in complete tears but cant stop watching. I wish I would have recorded her in her kitchen. Much love

Thank you so much!! I am white but my husband is Mexican. I watched your video and made him this and he absolutely loved it!!! He was impressed. I think next time I need a bigger pot to cook in.
she reminds me of my great grandma, I miss her. she always wore those types of over shirts, I always wondered where she bought them. she always cooked traditional Mexican food. I miss that too.
love your watching videos I wish I did this with my grandmother when she was alive to have all this great food and to share with everyone thank you so much for doing this taking time
Hello I've just subscribed to your channel. Love your grandma's recipe, I think its more authentic when you have your grandma showing us the good old traditional way. My Mom never showed me how to cook, we were both too busy to stop & actual cook together.Thank you so much for sharing, I will try it, hopefully it comes out as good as your grandma's ;) God Bless, saludos desde California
My grandma never gives answers when I ask how much to put in....I stand there and watch her cook so I can learn. Her rice is impossible to duplicate so I watched your video! Thank you for them I'm making caldo de res for the first time now.
I love your grandma too; you can tell she has such a sweet spirit. I love the big chunks of veggies in this recipe. I'll bet they retain more of their vitamins that way. I agree with the others posting here; its the best video and recipe I've seen for this soup. Thank you and your grandma for sharing it with us :)
Come on guys! Why are you talking about "knife skills" , she has more experience than everyone here chating on you tube, she is a senior, and maybe tired of cutting veggies and meat her entire life! Come on! She doesn't need "knife skills"
No. Just because someone has been doing something their entire life, and just because they are older, does not mean they are doing it well, nor does it mean by default that they know how to execute what they are doing properly. 1) That knife is obviously dull, which is a huge safety hazard. 2) Cutting on stone (or glass) is one of the quickest ways to dull and ruin a knife. A wooden cutting board is proper. 3) It's no wonder she has to sharpen her knife often because of the stone. 4) Cutting TOWARDS your fingers or flesh is an absolute Knife Skills 101 basic that is an absolute no no. 5) She's not even holding the knife in a proper hand position. Yes, she is functional-but she absolutely could learn legitimate "knife skills". ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cV0c7qiNjuI.html

Delicious! I cut the squash into smaller pieces and I added hominey just because I love it. I love your grandma and her recipes! My grandma just passed in May at 94 and she reminds me soooo much of her. God bless your family. 💜💜

I almost forgot to update you...I made this recipe for my mom today since she is out of commission due to a bad cold. I tweaked it a smidge based on what I know she usually puts in it, and she said it turned out really good! That's high praise considering her taste buds are all jacked right now. Anyway my taste buds are just fine and this caldo was amazing! Thanks again!
My mom to didn't show us n she regrets it bc sometimes she wants to eat these dishes n we have no clue..so I watch these videos n her recipes r almost identical to my moms which is gonna help me alot since I married a Mexican cowboy n he wants dishes like his mom made..this time I am gonna show my girls how to cook :-)
lily manzo Right?!? My mom said she didn't raise us to be housewives but then she would laugh and shake her head at us for being so clueless in the kitchen. I'm at least a bit better equipped than my sister, she no joke could burn water and the pot it evaporated in lol!
Everytime I make caldo de res I always come back to this video to remember what seasonings to add and how much salt to add and it comes out great 👍.... I love it 😍
Me encantó escucharlas y observar cómo cocinan. PS. I think one of the reasons for the large pieces of vegetables is so they don't fall apart due to the long cooking time and the pieces of meat with bone, (i think that's also the reason for the skin on the potatoes).
Thank you so much for posting this video... my husband is a really picky eater so I decided to try this because he loves caldos and I've never made one before, of any kind lol, and he loved it!
