Born and raised in Central CA. Been to Lake Tahoe 1/2 dozen times...Lived in Sacramento for 1 1/2 years. Remembering the smoke that blocked out tha sun in Sacto and how hard it was to breathe. 🙏🙏🙏for rain less wind and fire fighters safety. Love CA for the most part. Live in MO now.I 😪
Willing to bet they are planning on using the Tamarak burn scar to use as break to help contain this... they will skirt it around the lake and regroup and let let it run to the tamarak and work containment lines from or to that burn scar on both north and south sides of the fire

I'm sure everyone that evacuated yesterday took their pets. It's the outdoor cats/strays/ferals that get left behind, sadly. People rarely leave their dogs but cats are often not so fortunate. Hope for the best as the animals and wild life suffer the most.
You're taking statements too seriously and too defined... When they say _"Maybe collect the pets"_ it simply means to have the pets consolidated and _Ready To Go._ Because once it's time to evacuate - That Is It. It Is Time To GO. I don't care if 'Pebbles' needs her medicine or a new pacemaker, there's other lives at stake and _people need to be ready_ *NOW.*

Mismanagement... DOESNT account for the drought and dryness... which is the main thing fueling this fire. This is tragic, stop trying to blame "mismanagement" BS
