Ahahahahaha 😂 said by someone who's never been in the industry and doesn't understand it. Kodak agreed to slot the interview in between the video shoot. He wasn't just fuckin about with his friends and 304s being an inconsiderate ass. He was actually WORKING. Filming ANYTHING is absolutely exhausting and so draining. He did the guy a favour by accepting to do a long form interview on TOP of everything he had to do to create his music video. These interviews are often slotted in round the artists schedules artists have a VERY tight schedule and especially in promo times where they're releasing music, most will be putting in OVER 100 HOURS A WEEK! It's why they resort to drugs and burn out so badly. And so fast. They don't have the time to recover and then start working on new music. While you're releasing project A behind the scenes you're working on projects B, C and D. As they release one album they're already forced to start working on the next albums. I don't like the guy and couldn't name a single song of his. But you HAVE to be honest about the situation. He's entitled to be exhausted from the MANY nights before of working his ass off. He's entitled to say he will do your interview but it'll have to fit in around the video. He's allowed to say I don't have the right energy yet let's do it after when I get into character and give you the best interview. For him it's like asking a normal person to do an interview at 7 or 8 AM right after waking. And from all the actual fans reactions they made the completely right decision as it was one of Kodak's best interviews. It's NOT about time. It's about getting the BEST RESULTS. By giving up those few hours, for which they got a really great experience and a story they'll be telling their grandkids out of it, they got the best interview possible and they gained some respect, so that makes it MORE likely that the artists will personally request you for any planned media. So you get better opportunities and make more money. Often artists take to certain interviewers and they become their go to people who get all the inside scoops, meaning even if they were to leave a company it wouldn't effect anything because the artist will go with them and not the brand behind them. So the interviewer gets more opportunities and makes more money because they're the go-to guy for all these artists and will bring their own interviews and they'll be able to handle a higher quality of interview so they'll get better guest's assigned to them by their network, they'll get requested by high level interviewees who like their personality and styles. Are you seriously telling me that if you have the opportunity to interview someone huge, which will LAUNCH your career and earn you a ton of money, you're seriously walking out because they need you to wait a few extra hours... You would destroy your career and walk away... Because despite being told you're being slotted in AROUND their video and were likely told it would be before OR AFTER the shoot... You still got butthurt. So you want to act like a child. Knowing your self worth is also knowing when you've been presented with an incredible opportunity and not to fnck it up. It's also understanding the meaning of compromised. The artist has slotted you into their EXTREMELY tight schedules and are trying to give the best outcome possible... And your reaction is to spit your dummy out and throw a tantrum that you're not getting it exactly how you demanded. I guarantee you're one of those fools whining about self worth while being broker than broke. And I guarantee you take ZERO personal accountability for your failures. You WEREN'T just being an unreasonable child. You were just upholding your self worth. You were sticking it to the man. You WEREN'T a failure in business. You were just too real. Too honest. NO you were just an arrogant asshole with an ego problem. And maybe if you understood that business, like life is ALL about COMPROMISE. If you can't even understand that you're NOT the only person in the world and people may have legitimate reasons for being late and having to move things around. That's NOT disrespecting you or your time. They're not sat there planning against you like some type of temu joker 🃏 they're not sitting there laughing about how they're going to make an appointment with you and then be really late JUST to disrespect you and your time.
