It’s true tho it’s now a true offensive league especially a quarterback league…the days of a defense carrying a team to a championship are over the rules are too one sided…..taking away a young QBs offensive coach is crucial
Colin wants to be relatable to the everyday man and he’s way too rich to ever be. Nothing wrong with that and he should enjoy his riches. But he needs to realize he lives in a different world than 95% of Americans
@@Adays700 and living in America with internet access and a home, we’re doing better than 95 percent of the world. Colin was speaking in general for Americans. We’re not perfect, but we’re doing just fine. No matter who is president, that will continue
Haason Reddick, Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Sauce Gardner, Quinnen Williams, Quincy Williams, Jermaine Johnson, and Alijah Vera-Tucker. There you go Colin. 8 players in their prime. You’re welcome
Their only good weapon is Garrett Wilson and Mike William is injury prone. Injury prone O line and an old QB who look wash the last time he play with a bad OC and coach
They're the Jets- they don't deserve any benefit of the doubt. Just look at the organization bending over backwards last year to cater to Rodgers' every whim and dumb decisions. They'll find a way - to **** it up.
lol, so many bad Jets takes. He should avoid talking about the Jets. When you have an overt bias that is constantly on display for your audience, your credibility wanes very quickly.
@@theveezy350 obviously, he’s productive, he’s a good receiver. But we still don’t know what his ceiling will be. He could be an elite player, but he hasn’t had a quarterback capable of proving it. He’s never played in a playoff game, or any NFL game with real meaning.
I'm not hating on Justin, but the tape don't lie. Fields definitely got flustered trying to go through his progressions as quick as he needed to. He stared down his top receiver too long second guessing himself and messing up the timing for all open windows for each progression after #1! His footwork and drop backs that helps QB's with the throw timing was sloppy. I had no idea how Justin determined when his first throw with anticipation was supposed to be made without proper 5 and 7 step drops! When his hot receiver wasn't a good option, he dropped his eyes and began looking for a hole to run in and his receivers were just burning energy turning to find someone to block. The number 2 receiver knew that Justin would seldomly progress to him often and ran sloppy and lazy routes (usually Mooney) in the 2nd half on many occasions! I'm hoping Caleb doesn't get blasted behind this line early in the season making him skittish to where he slowly loses his ability to stand in the pocket and look for a receiver to the very last millisecond!
Wilson’s last year in Seattle he broke his middle finger and was out 4 weeks, and came back 3 weeks too early and was clearly still hurt and was bad. Then the final couple games he was good again. HIS ISSUE IS HES STRICTLY A PLAY ACTION QB, he can only run and be successful in one type of offense. Best 9 year stretch behind Tom Brady, by the numbers, in NFL history; ESPECIALLY 4th quarter comeback and last drive wins! Put him in a PA offense and see what he can do. This is not rocket science…
The hate for Russell Wilson is crazy. Imagine getting told you have to wave your injury clause to play for our team and it somehow becomes your fault. Smh.
@jaysonsmith7264 question so if your job helps with your Healthcare care and on day they decide to tell you " if you want to work for us you have to wave your Healthcare" you would do it?
@@jaysonsmith7264 lol imagine saying a Qb that is top 5 in Passing percentage, passing yards, passing TDs, passer rating, passing average, air yards, time to throw, and many other stats “absolutely sucks” lol
@@notoshco ur naming a bunch of regular season stats. he has the two fastest wr in the nfl and the fastest rb with a top 5 run game. what does tua do when the games really matter? he folds like my clothes that i put away. there is no debate to be had tua is not a top 15 qb. time to throw does not show a qbs ability at all😂 and air yards are u joking😂. air yards is the dumbest stat ever no one cares how far u throw it if the ball isnt caught
Why do you keep saying the Chiefs don't have a left tackle? We drafted the BYU kid in the 2nd round. You make no sense. Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, Hollywood Brown, and Kelce being thrown balls by Mahomes seems pretty good to me.
How long are these smaller QBs gone to last in the league. Seems like they fall off quicker than the bigger ones. They start strong at first then drop to average at best. Tua, Wilson, Murray. Young hasn’t even got there.
Personally, I think its unfair for the NFL to choose rookies for Hard Knocks. It's hard enough adjusting without doing it in front of cameras and opening themselves up to mockery. I think Williams will be a bust but this doesn't even give him a chance.
If Justin F. was all of that. He'd still be in Chicago right now. Which just proves to me how real the Russell W. hate is. Cause Justin wish he could have a have season like Russell did last year. Which he's never had and probably never will have.
I totally disagree with Colin's take of Riley having a deep feeling that he didn't want Grinch with him at USC. Riley asked him if he wanted to come with him. Then, during the offseason last year, Riley said he knew not to bet against Grinch and knew what he was made of. Then talking to the media after practice telling the fans or people outside the team that they can't see the progress the defense is making because they have an untrained eye. Then, after the Washington game, he finally realizes that the defense was not making the progress that he and Grinch had hoped. If Riley really wanted to not have Grinch tag along that night, he could have just said to him no. And considering their defense vs. Oklahoma State gave up 37 in a loss, he should have looked at that and said to himself that he isn't taking any defensive assistants with him from Oklahoma. I have always said that was a lazy move by Riley. He should have known better, and if he was given the chance to go back to that night, he would not have brought any of those guys with him.
I’m not arguing that defensive coaches have the same level of success as offensive head coaches but my god Colin loves to shove it down ppl’s throats. Eberflues didn’t wanna look like an old frumpy defensive coach? 😂😂 alrighty Colin
As a Dolphins fan I would say the fan base is split between thinking Tua is the greatest thing since sliced bread and then the other half more on the side of John; not exactly their cup of tea, hold off on the extension. I tend to lean more towards the latter. That said, I do think he's capable of leading a championship run (key word: CAPABLE), I just need to see it first and this will be his fifth year, so if not now then when?
The fact you have to see more means he’s not the guy. Classic trailer not tractor! He’ll go as far as the team around him takes him. Wild Card embarrassment against my Chiefs proved that. If you can’t play in weather that may require a hoodie you aren’t an NFL QB…
When Bobby Ross became HC of the Chargers , he said he didn't know a lot about us but was told " Beat The Raiders and the city will love you " !!! Old school rivalries are NOT what the used to be !!!!
Did Colin just say the Chiefs were bad at tackling? The Chiefs tackling issues ended like 2 years ago. Does he even watch the games? That’s why no chiefs fan is worried about Henry going to the Ravens
If you fire eberflus after a 9-8 season with a rookie in a top 2 division in football; you’re an idiot. He’s a ROOKIE. And you go 9-8?? That’s amazing. We need to back off with the expectations for Caleb. I’m high on the kid. Think he’s a future HOF. But some people are crazy with it.
Bears got 7 wins with a harder schedule. This year they get “multiple tiers higher” of a QB with an easier schedule and more weapons. But that equates to only 1 more win on the season? 🧐
How did the Vikings quarterback have the same injury What's the difference of Aaron is probably the age healing progress i'm not trying to be a jerk, but Tom Brady is Tom Brady, Tom Brady used 40 what's the difference Tom Brady was playing in his 40s so is A Rod what's the difference and A Rod since Packer's Let A Rod go because of age Packers like to upgrade and kick the old players out you're sure Brady is further ahead of him but he's not. Tom Brady is Tom Brady and A. Rod. Is playing in his ears like Brady, but Aaron is playing what by his body cows in there to individual people is not trying to catch up Tom Brady, Aaron wants to be Erin care less about Tom Brady go to individual quarterbacks they got skills as individuals🌺🌺🌺🌺🍀🍀🍀
A Rod wanted to be a Packer and retired as a Packer. He didn't have a choice because the coaches staff just perfectly pushed him out the door to the paparazzi and didn't let him get a chance to tell me he wanted to play or not one time he was a favorite fan of the 49ers he wasn't gonna play for 49ers that was his favorite team he refused to go to 49ers. That's why he picked the Jets ever since you left, the Packers, then came to the Jets that side of the vision seems like they're threatening By A Rod Who says he can't Play in his 40s look at Brady. He's no different from Brady and he said he wasn't going to push it any further than what Brady did. Brady is Brady and A Rod 🌺🌺🍀🍀
Can somebody tell Colin that the Lions drafted 2 corners, traded for a #1 corner, and signed Amik, who's a high-end slot corner. Ours corners are not last year corners. Do your research.
I love how this conversation went from, “Tua is too small and not athletic enough”, all the way to, “you have to win from the pocket and scrambling around doesn’t win games week to week. It just looks cool in highlight reels”. The ironic stupidity meter shows Full on these guys.
so, as much as i wish, im 5'9, right, and ive got friends who are 6'3. just 6'3, not even the 6'6 6'7 monsters on the o line let alone d line... i cant see over their shoulders... you realize that tua cant see over his own line. Now, tua i think throws the best mid range touch pass in the league, but if his throws have to include the lineman as the throwing lane, and even if he gets out of the pocket hes not kyler, not even close. Add in the cold weather outdoors in december games, they are right. it is both. it can be both. tua can both be too small and not athletic, and the game is won from the pocket, with the scamble being the anicdote not the gameplan.
@@steffengillespie4208 Tua certainly doesn’t seem to have a problem seeing throwing lanes, or maneuvering through the pocket and he’s more than capable of picking up a couple yards if he has to. He just chooses not to because he would rather get the ball into his playmakers hands, as he should want to do, as that is the job description. Tua is 6’1”. He can see over guys shoulders well enough. It certainly hasn’t stopped him from eating in the middle of the field. His problem with weather games is usually wind related when he doesn’t even attempt to drive the ball, for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes he just chooses not to and tries touch throwing a deep ball that gets hit by the wind and turns into a floater or gets all but dead stopped and drops out of the air. Sometimes it’s either because the play concept was shit or the receivers on the field didn’t do their job correctly based on the coverage of the defense and the underneath receiver stopped their route in the middle of the throwing lane and he had to throw over that receiver and their cover defender and under the secondary to hit the window, so he couldn’t just drive the ball because he would hit a linebacker in the facemask with the ball. Being taller won’t help that and having a bigger arm would only serve to make the ball bounce off dudes head a little bit higher when it hit them.
No they shouldn’t. Hitting a receiver with timing and precision allows them to get yac. Keep the stats the way they are and let your own eyes determine the nuances. YAC is already a stat that counts for receivers and QBs
Unless Russ is doing stupidly bad I don’t see the Steelers playing Fields until the 2nd half of the season solely because of how the trade was worked. Even if Pittsburgh some how snuck into the playoffs they aren’t going anywhere this year. I don’t see it being worth giving up a 4th over a 6th just to get Justin a few more games unless Russ is complete shit.
yeah after the video he made the other day on that whole incident, i have much less interest in his content now. not saying i wont watch, but man its hard to support someone whos so far out of touch on the things that ACTUALLY MATTER.
@@jfraz_7720 yeah man very disappointed to hear Colin's political take. I work with the poor & low middle class, people are really struggling and the States are not helping shame on you @colincowherd plz keep politics outta sports plzzz
2 things here Colin, first change the outro to your FS1 youuutuube cuts hearing uncle Colin is just weird...second and more importantly if the Dolphins pay Tua get ready to stay being a poverty franchise and dooming the team for at least 5 years. Please don't pay Tua let him play contract out and thank him for his services God bless.
The Bills are in for a step back! Finally all the hype will come crashing down. Allen is great, duh! But he couldn’t get it done with stacked teams. Now they’ve got significantly less talent. Diggs, Davis, Morse, Poyer, White, Jones all gone. Milano coming off an ACL too. Keon Coleman is fun in interviews but one year of production, late bloomer guy in college doesn’t usually translate. Shakir is a NICE slot and Samuel is a good league average WR. Knox is good not special and Kincaid has DUDE potential. They’ll easily win their division but this is the worst team they’ve had since Diggs got to town. Good thing they took that championship banner in the practice facility. Set more realistic expectations….
Ah yes, the tua slander. These 2 have invested BIG on tuas downfall. Almost like the hedgefunds with GME. Theyll have to take an apology tour. Along with Nick Wright. Nick Saban and many others picked tua as a great qb Injuries and brian flores haulted a bit of his progression. "He cant play in the cold?" One of the junkiest narratives. The minute they beat a good team in cold weather the goal post will move and pundits will say it wasnt againt the chiefs. Also taking away diggs from Allen is not good for Allen. Josh allens best skill is his feet and ridiculous arm. He throws deep and thats what makes him elite. Take away the deep threat and you neuter his offensive capabilites. As a fin fan, ill take it. Cause josh allen throws the best deep ball in the league.
37:00 Colin doesn't seem to understand two concepts: 1) Your "Preferable vacation time" will not always align with your work demands lmao, that's just facts. 2) If rivalries start losing it's luster, unimportant regular season games will make CFB irrelevant, expeditiously. Just like CBB and every other college sport to general America. UF vs UGA still pull ratings, should they pivot because UF isn't a hyper-winning program at the moment? No, because that would be stupid. Stop using USC as some 'ultimate' program because you live there and start examining the perspectives of the 130+ schools in the 49+ other states in America.
Am I the only one who saw Jordan love throw up alot of 50/50 balls plus a few gametime hail marys he got lucky on and bailed out on everytime till the last one in the playoffs? A tougher schedule this year and a whole off-season to study game film and I think he will play pretty mediocre this season. I'm not sold
Like an Eli situation…. Guy has two rings all the broadcasters in todays era are clueless they make it about winning and not about winning when it backs up their take. Cowherd and Mac are the worst Anti NY Giants broadcasters I’ve ever seen
They don't play Aaron this year and then who's interested in watching them go but watching the young pups Packers play date if they don't play Aaron why even fight tooth and nail getting him from the Packer's that one year they didn't want him anyway, why did you even get first pics from them? Just give the old man A Rod turn the Jets they don't when you're all out of a job that's a A. Rod said 🌺🍀
People overestimate the importance of NFL analysts. Who are the people that tune in or out of an NFL game because of the analysts? If a game is fun, will watch. If it stinks, I don't care who's calling the game, I'm not watching.
I'm definitely tuning in to some of the early season games to hear Brady. Cowboys/Browns sounds meh but if that's Brady's first game I'm watching. Just to see how he does.
@@nealgray4071 The Manningcast routine was fun for a few episodes, but got old and predictable fast. If the game was garbage, I turned it off. To each their own, but the Mannings are not that entertaining
What was funny I thought it was funny as former player Adams that did play with A Rod I know it's weird because like that side of the vision seems threatened Buy A Rod do you wanna retire as a Packer but I'm sure you don't play. That way they get old enough they kick them out the door and they get new players in their 20s when I get closer 30s then I get rid of them.🌺🌺🍀🍀
@@dnice33have you heard Nick Wright talk about him, basically has him as a top 5 qb already … sounds overrated to me. I think he will be good but they are over playing this
