Probably talent and less time playing since they got other things to do while another person can be good at the game due to grinding. In this case Afro isn't grinding the game as much as the pros do because if Yoshi is unpredictable to him then he isn't pro level yet.

@@wyethleonYou can also add the character they play. Alot of ppl don’t know the Yoshi matchup so Caleb might not even be red rank and be boosted because of that. While Afro is playing Dragunov who is broken which also boosts his rank since he gets to just flowchart every game. Having a complete grab game is hard to deal with to new players

Its a game mechanic, it has its advantages and disadvantages, with enough experience u can deal with them. If one is a noob for using them, then the opponent is also a noob for not being able to defend against it, coz players with enough experience will punish u hard for it. Its a fighting game, u use what works against ur opponent, and do it until they start punishing u for it.

That's why people see him more as a hero/6th ranger/secret boss figure, while Lotus gets treated like he's here to make sure things don't get too serious for Afro and he doesn't get hurt too bad.
