It sounds like you need to rest that ankle bro. But if it has been two weeks and it's still swollen, you might want to go to the hospital. Just be careful with your body. I hurt my wrist like a year and a half ago and It's still injured... :/

rest your ankle when I sprained my ankle it was swollen for 2 months and was purple for 2 weeks. just massage it and do small stretches everyday

I don't know what your sideflip looks like, but the better your tech is, the less likely it is that you'll hurt yourself. Even when you can get a move outside, if you can train it in a gym, that's the place to do it. Definitely keep off the ankle, ice it for twenty minutes every so often, and eat good food. I'm sorry to hear about your injury. Little stretches are good. Stop if it hurts. A lot of people hurt their ankles starting flips like that, it's pretty common. The trick is to do enough safely so that you can do them outside with good technique and not hurt yourself. Hope you heal soon! Train safe :)
