A new record for Calgary according to Environment Canada, with the city seeing 157 consecutive days without any daily low negative temperatures. Callum Hawker finds out how Calgarians are feeling about the prolonged warm weather.
20C is is about 72F. Day time highs should be maybe 50F right now with nighttime lows 0C/32F. The lousy part about a long Indian Summer is here in Calgary the weather can snap to cold faster than we've acclimated. 94F is a bit hot though. 85 gets me pretty uncomfortable. Our record here was about 6 years ago, 39.6C or 105F. No AC, but 24 of wobbly pops on ice got me thru it.
Can I even and ever seriously trust the weather forecasts? I visit daily the Environment Canada webpage and it's uncanny how accurate it plays out to be sometimes. Yeah, yeah computer models. Too many patents exist for weather manipulation to preclude the question of anthropogenic climate change being by design. 🤔
