Had Corn pudding before, Went I visited my family in Georgia round Christmas 2011,My Aunt fix that went we had Christmas Dinner, I said I didn't like it she say sweetie, I'd feel bad and told her that I didn't mean it that like that.She pass away 2020.Still keep up with my Cousins now.Almost lost my Cousin Jennifer. R.I.P Aunt Shirley. Our memories of ALL 5 us(Aunt Shirley ,Cousin Jennifer, Cousin Joshua, Uncle Ed,Me) live forever.

Yes we haven't put anything out much lately. The Coleslaw was the worse thing. Liked everything enough that we would go back and the Pork Chop was amazing as was the Banana pudding. Stay safe this weekend and Happy New Year to you 😎😎
Mama Mia that food looked good, Banana bread, Banana pudding , Banana cake, Banana cream pie all excellent when done right. That place had lots of room also. Good size menu. I may have Gavoned the Fish and Chips. Happy new year.
We went there several years ago and didn't care for their bbq sauce so haven't been back. Our grandson got a steak that time which was really good. Bobby's pork chop looked really good. It looked nice and tender when she was eating it. I am leery of pork chops when eating out since they can be tough if not cooked correctly. That dessert looked amazing. It's a good size to share too.
Calhouns is one of my favorites! We usually go to the one on the river in Knoxville. I even had my high school graduation party there. Y’all chose good things. Also recommend the white chicken chili and catfish.

We ate at the Calhoun's in Gatlinburg. I had the beef brisket and Spinach Marie. Both were Amazing, hub had the ribs and didn't like the sauce and they weren't fall off the bone either.
I love corn pudding. The right way to make it is with corn, creamed corn, sour cream, butter and jiffy muffin mix. My grandpa used to add finely chopped jalapeño peppers also.

Yes we don't ask for money or have a PO Box for people to send us stuff. We should because almost every one we watch does that. With the time it take to edit these videos and film we lose money making them . When we wore the shirts people wanted to buy them LOL
@@jbinthehills well if people are telling you that they want shirts and other things like that maybe you should consider starting a little business. I have no idea how much work that would be or how much money you could make but maybe it’s worth considering.
@@jamesboswell530 Maybe. What alot of people don't know about us is that we lost our jobs in July of last year. Bobbie had 35 years and I had 20 with that company. We were the USA largest generic pharmaceutical. 3000 of us lost our jobs to greed when they took it to India. We started this channel working there with 6 weeks vacation to go places and now we are just getting paid for a year severance from them so thats how we are doing things. In a few months we hope to continue this channel with new jobs but we won't have vacation to go as much. We will probably do a video then and explain to people what happened to us. So selling shirts and having Patreons would help us fund these meals and trips if we can still go. We appreciate you and everyone that watches us and comments.
Did you ever try Famous Dave's BBQ? It is very good. Probably not the best in the world ( too many great places especially mom and pop shops) but the food is really good, also great Banana pudding, and bread pudding!
We had the big I think trash can deal with all kinds of meats. We didn't do you tube then but hope to go back. It was at Cedar Point and we loved it. We buy the BBQ sauce and Corn Bread mix in the stores. Thanks for watching. 😎😎
Another name for corn pudding is scalloped corn some people put corn bread pieces in there’s while others put crushed ritz crackers in there’s. It’s made with one can of cream corn and one can sweet corn drained. And, either way it’s made it’s still quite 😋
Their food is just solid. The bread might be the best thing they do… Lol in Knoxville you can go to the location on the river by the stadium which makes it scenic. They have some good appetizers. My ribs destroy them. Lol
The outdoor sign says "always hiring." Maybe they should rebrand the restaurant as Calhoun's (Not the) Best Ribs in America. All joking aside, I hope you two go to a good ol roadside trucker restaurant in '22. Maybe one where each table has a CB that you have to use to place your order. 1O-4 good buddies!
I’ve never been to this place but I have a really hard time believing their ribs are better than Corky’s. Or just about any other bbq place in Memphis for that matter.
@@jbinthehills It’s really hard to be objective with something as diverse as ribs. Because there are so many different barbecue sauces and there are so many different styles of ribs. For instance I really like Memphis wet ribs but a lot of people like the dry rub. And then other people swear by St. Louis or Kansas City ribs. Which I don’t really like. The list goes on and on.

Would love to if we had them. We had them made for us for $19 dollars a piece. We had 2 styles made. The ones we wear are the only ones we have. We didn't figured anybody would want a shirt so we never ordered any to sell. Appreciate your comment and you watching our vlogs Sandra 😎😎
