Hi - I am loving the series. I will be soon getting a Labrador puppy and will use your videos as a basis to develop my dog. As I am a novice in dog training and for my own development can you give your thoughts on the following point please? Around 17 minutes into the video Cali was struggling with the hunt commands was this because she was tired plus a combination of local weather conditions? If I was training my dog would you recommend I stop training at this point as the training would lose its effectiveness please? Out of pure interest who is the sire of Cali? Please keep producing your videos as I have learnt so much!
Im wondering why are you letting the dog quarder so far from you? She is too far from shot range, even tho she is workin relly nicely whats the point if you cant shoot the bird?
To be honest, I don’t mind her range, she wasn’t out of gun range much at all. I’m not sure if you’ve seen the entire series but with her, the struggle is not too big of a range but the opposite. In order to get where I wan to be, at times we go to the opposite in an attempt to find balance.
