I bought one yesterday 23-04-22 and I have issues with matching my stationary monitor with my laptop monitor. The white does not look white and the last stage where you match the yellow color really show how different of a color each monitor produce even though they are calibrated. Both of the displayes are of the same brand and are new premium monitors.

Hi ed.i'm trying to calibrate my monitor number two but when i'm at the last part of calibration the progrma window skip automatically on monitor one. what am I doing worng?

The Spider X Pro and Elite are the same. The only difference is the software. Since the software is crap and we're better off using DisplayCAL, just buy the Pro X.

Hello there! I do both photography and video editing. This is how we calibrate for print proofing, but what about for us video editors that want an accurate rec 709 target? I don't see any information on this, and I have had issues with the colours being off and the Gamma being off by like 25% when from my monitor (in my NLE) to after youtube conversion. Apparently this is possible with this device (the elite), but you demonstrate the procedure for matching for printing, which I am familiar with. It works really great for making photo proofs, but this is not a rec709 targeted workflow.

So it won't work with the new iMac because there is a USB-C only! The one thing I hate about Apple is they are expensive as hell then make you but tons of accessories to run it!

How do you know 6500K is the white point of your minitor? Shouldn't you measure first the whitepoint?

Nice video. I see we got about the same results...but both of us only have about 75% accuracy to adobeRGB. Isn't that the standard for photography? I have played with it...but that's the best I can do. Do I need a different monitor?

Question....what model# of LG monitor are you using and are you happy with it and have you had any problems with it?

Why elite? Will the pro work just as good?

Does it calibrate the colours inside Windows? Or is it using it's own software to modify things? If I was to calibrate someone else's monitor, would it stay calibrated if I removed the Spider software?

How do I connect this with USB-C port? Does it come with an adaptor or something like that?

Will this work on a laptop that only has brightness adjustment and nothing else?

Great walkthrough video. I use dual monitors. Although they are the same make and model I have noticed that they are slightly different in brightness and color. Can I use this to calibrate both monitors to be somewhat consistently the same?

Hello, I usually use low brightness to prevent eye stress.. how can I force program to use my desidered brightness to calibrate colors? If reset the setting at default my LG is waaay too high in brightness for my taste, as a starting point. On most video about LG calibration with default settings brightness were achieved around 80, too high. Here I can see some options but don't understand how much can I work with the values. The target value showned in the video is the one defined by you for a particular reason? I'm looking for SpyderX pro, but want to know things in advice, if possibile or not. Don't want to use then a calibrated monitor with crazy brightness then. :) Thank You Considering I'll use the "pro" software and not "Elite" with the Spyder Pro, cheap version.
