If like me you use this tool on a weekly basis, it’s good practice to check it’s calibration often, saves time on future jobs especially on the lower lift levers.

Wow this thing is super awesome!! You are the first person I have seen using one of these. I need one so I can practice in case I come in contact with a Fortress lock...Thank you for the video even though it was 3 years ago..

bloggs692413 glad I could help, if you’re after the Perspex covers, Walker Locksmiths sell them for a lot of common mortice locks

Fortress locksmiths, I managed to get a couple of mortice locks to practice on, and I feel like I have got the hang of the different feels and sounds etc now thanks to you 👍 I’ve got the union Chubb and Yale one on order now but I had a call from key print saying there will be a delay, so hopefully some times towards the end of next week I should get that decoder. The era profit - viscount give me the odd lil bit of trouble 😂 but that’s starting to come around abit now 😂 but I seriously need to start knuckling down with the mortice picking side of things, need to invest in a tidy pick

I find if no7 is horizontal or 90deg to the lock it’s calibrated fine
