Love the fact so many are still interested in the Drum and Base scene. Fab and Groove got me started and I've been in love ever since. UKF really showing the best of these DnB Legends.

lil walrus totally agree Calibre is liquid. So diverse and a musical genius. But don’t forget Ltj bukem (ie Atlantis , horizons all the progression sessions) they come out 20 years ago. When liquid was not a sub genre ltj bukem created the genre in my eyes with his total unique sound and style. And Calibre brought it through and is king

We truly are living one of the best times of Drum and Bass these days with the musical direction being finer than it was a few years ago and with acts such as Bad Company planning on coming back into game. Not to mention the upcoming album of Ed Rush & Optical. What a time to be alive...

Detune two saw waves, low pass, add effects as needed.

+Tune Degree FM a saw -> sine at a low frequency with a fine offset to get the phasing. Separate your sub from your main patch at this point and distort the one without the sub and lowpass it and you should be pretty close. Basses like these are pretty simple but come to life in a great mix which has alot to do with where your harmonic placement is at and how loud your general levels are.
