The California School for the Deaf Riverside football team had a historic 2021 season, going undefeated through 12 games before reaching their first-ever state championship. Coach Keith Adams, starting quarterback Trevin and tight end Anakin join the show to talk about how being deaf has its unique advantages on the field, and what the historic season meant to them and their team. NBC4 LA reporter Tony Shin joins the rest of the team on their home field for a huge surprise!

I grew up next to 2 deaf girls when I was young, I haven't seen them in AGES and have since lost my ability to do ASL but I love this segment!

This school desperately needs athletic funding. Its a tuition free school that survives on donations. Theyre blessed to have the land already or they probably would've dropped the program all together
