Honestly watch this video 3-4 times before taking the test and if you actually pay attention you will pass guaranteed that's what I did I struggled with that test for so long I'm glad I'm able to get over that hurdle
I took my written test today, im happy to say i PASSED, and I wanna say that this channel helped me out a lot with studying, thank you so much for these videos, it did simplify the handbook but to those who feel discouraged, don’t, you got this and please shift between reading portions of the handbook, watching videos, and taking practice tests online (that’s what I did and it worked!).
basically anything from the handbook lol so these questions are super helpful for practice but also reading the handbook is important-- and note down any type of "you need to do [blank] within how many feet?" and all the speed limit areas, because those pop up a lot@@oceanrocks i also found an audiobook of the handbook to listen to and read along with on youtube that helped
01/23/24 I took my 1st written test today, I didn’t pass, and then I tried for the second time on the same day and then I passed! I’m on my 30’s btw 😆 I’m so happy but my head hurts a lot because of the questions! lol 😣 Thank God! This Videos helps me a lot too.. just don’t be nervous to take the exam try to take the free test too at DMV practice test 2024! Best of luck to everyone!!
i just passed the test!! this vid actually helps you get the basics of everything. i literally studied this last min and the handbook, and i got 5 incorrect. the test will question you about when to turn on signal to change lanes (100 ft), fines and penalties, alcohol limits, line marks like double yellow lines, single yellow lines etc, signs and their meanings, emergency stuff
Had my test earlier today, and i passed the first try. I got three wrong. I can confirm some of these definitely are on the test.. if you watch these videos and get everything right, then you're ready, it felt really easy.
Do you think recommend anything specific? I’m 17 and have taken the permit 3 times and have studied for months. I’m nervous and hopefully I’ll take it this December.
@@oceanrocks man its really easy i failed 1 time because i wasnt studied good even tho i was thinking i know everything make sure you read the handbook until you're sick of it and focus while reading
I can pass ALL of these DMV tests at 100% because I have worked through 50-60 online tests (I passed all of them) including all four of those on the California DMV website (which I scored 100% on). I have also completely broken down the California Driver's Handbook into a huge stack of flashcards which I have studied scores of times. However, I have failed the California DMV test three (3) times. I failed the last time within two minutes of beginning. Why have I failed? The reason I have failed is because questions represented here (and other sites including the DMV's) are only about 40% of the California test. 60% of the DMV actual test are about esoteric point-of-law regarding things as prison penalties or fines, NEVs, or Light Rail Vehicles, etc. The actual test uses very difficult and complex verbage with long compound sentences. For instance, I told a DMV worker that the DMV website sample tests were NOTHING like the actual test. Her response was telling. She said, ,"Yes, that is true."
@@imtired5401 The only thing I have heard from other test-takers is to continue to thoroughly go over the Handbook and pay close attention to things like penalties (e.g. felony hit and run: minimum of 90 days in jail up to four years in California State prison, a fine up to $10,000, and victim restitution). Also such things as "Buses, Streetcars, Trolleys" and their "Safety Zone" or the speed for scooters, golf carts, NEVs, and LSVs. Look for anything that seems inconsequential for automobile drivers (e.g. how far must a bicycle's rear red reflector be visible? Or how far must a bicycle's pedal reflectors be visible?). These are just the kind of trivia that is unnecessary for automobile drivers to know BUT the DMV test focuses on. It is crazy.
I appreciate all these videos. They are very helpful. Also, can you please explain questions 28 and 29, I honestly dont understand the questions or the way they are worded. Thank you 🙏

Because they didn’t give you the test back so you get the right answer for the test to they just said read the book and 25 questions is to many 20 questions is what you need for all
Is the glyphic character 4 best used this way for the unknown purposes at my family's ✋ hand? Or, might it be used to show... A: the end of an open 🎁 B: bent knees of a human stick figure C: a🏒puckcase D: Hal - my senior family members' House? PS: ref rig 'er at or
Extra room???? Seriously. Some of these are wrong. Can you imagine showing a diagram for turning and not showing a car in the diagram?it's a reading comprehension test. 🤦♀️
took my test today and passed on the first try!! honestly i studied for like four days because i procrastinated, and this test helped a lot! i listened to the video like five times total, and took a ton of practice tests. i didnt look at the handbook until it was too late, but i didnt even need it. my advice is to read the questions veryyyy carefully, and honestly like at least %60 of the test is questions exactly like this one!! good luck everyone
@blueberries1181 hey I just took it today for the second time I would recommend remembering right of way laws, carrying cargo rules, and how to deal with skids :) good luck
Watching all these vidoes and 3 years of driving experience helped me get it on my first try (Theres only 3-4 of theses questions on the actual test i recommend studying the Road Sighs as well)
i've been procrastinating studying for the test and now its in less than 12 hours so here i am watching yt videos cramming for it 😪 UPDATE: I failed the test 😭 make sure to review the more "numbery" questions because there were a lot of those. As long as you read the questions carefully, you should be good. I think videos like this are fine, but your best bet to pass first try would be the handbook, but it just depends on you.
@@marierauhl yes sadly didn’t pass but now I’m ready I’m going to the DMV tomorrow I read the handbook few times and be on Quizlet and watch the dmv written test

Watch out for usage any and always. This type of knowledge is either legal or illegal. They should not contain such words usually...may is another one. Poorly written test.
This lane in the middle of the street is for you to turn left, but you must be in that lane before you turn left. That's why it says merge completely into this lane BEFORE you make your left turn. So you cannot be in the current lane and turn left cutting across that lane in the middle of the road to get to your destination . Hope that makes sense.
@@cocot3662The problem is this: given the outer solid line and inner broken line for that lane, one cannot merge into that lane. Thus, one must merge (or have already merged) onto that lane BEFORE it has those lane line markings.

I have mine on the 5th of Feb I’m praying that I pass at the first try good thing it’s 46 questions n yes I live in California. Did you actually take those or you just randomly find them and post? I been studying in everything I know they probably change it every year due to people posting the exact stuff
