May be that the instincts tell them that it's of no use biting King snakes as they are immune to other venomous snakes bites.

Gopher snakes don't tame very well in captivity. Kingsnakes do.

At the end the gopher snake's head was totally buried in the king snake's coils. On another video of a snake strangling another snake like this, someone commented that it reminded him of his ex-wife's relentless head scissors. 😅

That’s because kingsnakes “squeeze” (constrict) with twice the force than other constrictors do (pound for pound) so even if it did construct back, it would have still been killed an eaten.

@@zorro8027 Gopher looks like longer than the King snake? Hard to eat something that has a longer body than the predator ? Snakes don't chew the food, just swallow! I've seen shorter snake try to swallow dead, longer snake (venom killed it), than regurgitate it back later.

szaki Its doesnt matter if the kingsnake is too small to eat it, what my point was is that PfP king snakes constrict with 2 times the force of other constrictors and are immune to the native venom, which is why they are called kingsnakes.

King snakes can constrict 2 as hard as any other snake.. The consrricting power is even better than that of an anaconda. Offcourse king snakes don't get as big. 3.5feet to 5feet average.

Yeah the king snake is resistent to the venom. So he would also eat a coral snake.

Kingsnakes are not immune to coral snake venom. So if a king were to be bitten by a coral snake, it would be in a bit of trouble.

Yeah, not just about size. I dont think king snake can withstand the amount dose of king cobras venom for even a single bite.
