joining the guard in a few months when I turn 17, I am living in new jersey. Will I also be deployed?

Yes after basic you will be deployed to fight!

Isn't it funny that some people claim that the national guard are the militia that the 2nd amendment speaks of. When in reality they didn't have a national guard back then. This should be obvious that the federal government can call up the national guard to go and fight their wars that they are not the militia that our forefathers were talking about. But the citizens and the rights of the people is exactly what they meant.

Despite what propaganda people are fed, California is pretty conservative outside the major cities. Its all agriculture, dairy. cattle ranches and light industry. Desert and mountain dwellers as well. We have several state sanctioned militias in CA. I have no problem with getting firearms if you just do the simple paperwork.

@@user-fb8jb5yi6g no need for paperwork! Obviously no law shall infringe the people from the right to keep and bear arms. However you are correct about the red state of California. And that the cities is the problem. And I am fully aware of how it used to be as compared to now. Being that I am from there.
