Blame the voters who are voting for them. They are the only ones who can be blamed.

The reason is poor judgment in who the CA voters for. There are always plenty of Republican candidates running in CA. Why do the CA voters go to the polls and put Democrats in office over and over again. The people in CA have not suffered enough with their political choices. They will continue to suffer.

Just make sure you don't vote for a democrat or a fake Republican. Vote for true Republicans. We all have to do a better job researching our candidates better. I made the mistake only once when I voted the fake Republican governor of Utah. He still won the second time, but I know I didn't vote for him.

Put $150k down, and you’ll have to finance $750K at 5.5%….you’d need to make at least $250K a year, to be able to afford the mortgage, interest, insurance and taxes on that house. This is idiotic, it won’t help anyone.

$150,000 will get you a 2000+ square foot, 4 bedroom 2 bathroom here in California. It's in the middle of the desert though, no Starbucks on every corner, so no one wants to live here. Bought my 3 bedroom for $52,500

@@JulieAldrich-d3q That average includes the obscenely expensive houses in big cities and the coast. Go inland for a bit and prices are half that and keep dropping the further from the ocean you get. Also it's very common now for multiple families to move into a single home which makes the crazy prices more affordable. Nevertheless, this is absolutely still idiotic and will do nothing but *hurt* citizens and legal immigrants. Giving any group a $150k bonus will do nothing but drive prices up.
