I guess it might be very very aesthetic: play music video with this guitar, fender strings and pick, while sitting on bench on Santa Maria beach at the sunset)
@@dracov6667 a redondo? You will love it bro. Go n try one on a store. And check the size too. The Malibu was too small to me, but it works if u r planning to travel. Check also the fender PM3 all mahogany if u like the wooden style.
I disagree. They can be good, just not excellent or great. For the price points, they are in the ballpark with Epiphone, Yamaha and whatever else is out there. These are not trying to be high end Martins, Gibsons or Taylors.
Somebody help me. I am sold on the fender Redondo. i want to know if the extra money is worth it for the Special over the Player (Base model) Is the extra money worth it COST/VALUE??? does it sound THAT much better?? I know this can be subjective to some extend, any input is appreciated. :) Rock on.
From what I gathered, Player has laminate back and sides. Special and Classic are all solid mahogany back and sides. Player has NuBone nut and saddle which is basically some sort of plastic with a fancy name. Special and Classic have genuine bone nut and saddle. Those things to me justify the price difference. Based on the reviews I read, I believe the build quality is much better on the more expensive ones compared to Player, and they also sound way better due to better quality materials used (all solid woods, bone nut and saddle), but I couldn't find any info on the difference in build quality between the Special and Classic. All I was able to find so far, that to me only partially explains the price difference between Special and Classic is that the Classic has an upgraded, koa binding and rosette. Hope this helps.
For all those who say that this guitar sucks, is it not partly because whoever touches it also sucks when playing? If Jimmy Hendrix played on this guitar it would be a fucking madness. I've seen people playing on much more expensive guitars and they suck.
ciao a tutti, ho trovato modelli simili ma questa colorazione proposta nel video, molto bella, non sono riuscito a trovarla. E' un colore ancora in commercio? qualcuno può indicarmi il modello e colore esatto o un link cui trovarle? Grazie
guy you play great ... a long the picking guitars sound great ...as soon u strum it is gone ..I have Catalina Japan made if you know one whose selling one of this ... please contact ...oh last strumming sounds good
At 3:36, what is the long handle wooden object on the third shelf to the artists left? If anyone knows, please tell me. I was given one quite similar to that and I have no idea what it is. Thank you.
its got that weird rubbery sound... lately people have been experimenting with IRs from acoustic guitars into really good amps.. you can run a IR pedal and load in the impulse to get rid of that piezo sound
I wanted this particular model in Hotrod Red. Good luck no one has them unless it is a floor model. I spoke with Fender directly and was put on a wait list. As of last week (Mid week, first week of March) I was told my a rep they are discontinuing this model, all three of the classics. I got the turquoise blue. It sounds amazing. It is new. However listen up: if you want one: and of the classic models they all are made in China. And well: COVID-19. Distribution problems? I don’t know? But the only red ones left according to guitar center are in red were 3 stores which I called and they were all scratch and dents. I was fortunate enough to get a absolutely easy to play, beautiful sounding guitar from GC and they have me a presidents sale price of 15% off and free shipping. Guitar came well packaged. Just know that if u deal directly with Fender to get a guitar(or anything for that mater) they ARE NOT VETERAN FRIENDLY. No discounts for being a veteran. They will give u some bs lessons or something like that at a discount for being a veteran. I don’t need lessons. I am disabled and on a fixed income. I just wanted 10% off maybe to buy an America Classic guitar after I went to hell and back. Fender won’t do that. GC in the other hand will. I rcv’d a lot of misinformation from Fender directly and have emails to prove it as well as mid information from GC. Fender has a hands of approach when it comes to their vendors. GV made it right( my first order was obviously a floor model and had scratches on it). I had to pay a return shipping cost of 64. I don’t drive. I can’t just go to a store 40 miles away from my house. Again: GC made it right. But if u want any of the classic models which sound absolutely amazing, get it NOW while I can. Fender said they will no longer all 3 classic models. Oh and by the way: the news guitar I finally got according to the tag and serial number it was made Oct 2018. It is now: March 10,2020. It may be new as far as all packaged up. The gig bag is amazing. But call GC and for the love of God get a hard case with a Humidification device. To protect your investment when you are not using it.
If you scratch it, then yes it will, but if you strum slowly, like to play some slow songs or something then it's no problem, but if you wanna play some fast songs like for example some Blink 182 acoustic, then you have to be careful you don't scratch it
Looks good but it’s trash in comparison to a Taylor 110ce....bought it and had to return it......Fender just can’t get that Taylor or Martin deep resonant rich tone with their acoustic guitar...always that airy springy tone bouncing all over the damn place ! The Stratasonic is only good because it’s an electric strat profile.
