Sadly true. I too, born and raised in So. Cal., along with my two brothers and my sister. We have left California. One to Oregon, another to No. Carolina and my sister, she moved to Mexico. No longer home. We all left for these very reasons mentioned in this video.
Not all dems are bad, but most of them are. Party loyalty is cancerous to our democracy. I'd rather vote for a socialist than a republican who kills illegal immigrants, and I fucking hate socialism.
I'm republican, Christian, and I want to leave so bad. I just don't know where to go. The environmental laws, the gun laws, the hostility if you disagree with the socialist. I'm a college student and Chico state just had trouble with the socialist students running amuck. The homelessness, high rent, no jobs, and if you find one its part-time minimum wage. The fires. Oh, God. I could go on and on. Many people are not very friendly here especially if you disagree with their viewpoint. I feel as though I'm not accepted here.
Love California. Raised in California. Never wanted to leave my home. But now, too many negatives to stay. Heading to a Red state in 3 weeks for a reason. Won't look back....

I hate to agree with you, I've lived in Sunnyvale and Cupertino when they had orchards all over the place, but now it morphed into the Silicon Pit. My folks lived in 'The Villages' @ 101 & 85 freeway intersections overlooking the Bay area - absolutely beautiful - but they are moving too. Non-see Peeue'lousy, and other dubmbocrats running this awesome state are turning it into a sewer. Not all Democrats are dumb or evil, but the flag says "California Republic' NOT 'california democracy' for a reason! I've lived in the Santa Cruz Mountains for 20 + years and am SAD to leave to Grass Valley. G.V. is a good place in the foot hills 50 + mi. from Sacramento, but it's HOT as hell in the summer, not like just going a few miles to the Beach Board Walk! Awesome place to go to, now it's 3+ hours - NOT 15-20 min. Prayer can change the political scenery, BUT the Word of God has preordained the demise of these once great nations due to the peoples rejection of The Law Giver Who loved us enough to live a perfect life and die to take our punishment away from those who ask His forgiveness, receive it and live a new life encouraged by The indwelling Holy Spirit to walk a truly magnificent life! Again... Pray for California, while there is still hope!
Born in Santa Barbara nearly 75 yrs ago.....Lived there for 35 yrs of my adult life and loved it.....Saw the handwriting on the wall, so moved to SW FL when I retired Nov. 2004.....The socialism takeover of Californica has become much worse than I could have imagined after my smart move.....I'm paying off a 1,400sq ft double wide on a canal with 66' of seawall and two boat lifts (power for 23' ft boat and manual for 12' skiff) with 1st and 2nd mortgage, park fees, insurance, etc.....For exactly the same cost, I could be living in a 1 bedroom, 1 bath 688sq ft apartment (not near beach) with street parking only in Santa Barbara (that was about 6 months ago--same apt has probably increased by at least $50/mo by now)......My daughter and son-in-law planning to move out of T-Oaks (safe, conservative island in so. cal.) when kids out of high school.....Hope they move closer to FL.... lol
Conservative here, born and raised in California. I'm 48 now moved three years ago to Idaho. I love it here! I make the same money and my mortgage payment is 1/3 of what it used to be for the same size house. Gun owners here are not looked down upon like they are in So Cal. Remember though when you leave Cali, leave that liberal mindset there. Remember California is Democrat at every level of state government and that is what ruined it. So don't move to another state and continue to vote Democrat. If you kick a red state keep it red.
I watched a video of guys with guns in a town in Idaho, this lady was walking by and kind of had to push one of the guns out of her way like it was normal. I found that humorous..
California native, swore I would never leave. Lately came to feel that California has left me. Sold business, house, looking forward to getting a concealed carry permit in Arizona. MAGA!
I moved to Eugene, OR in 1966, and there were signs "Do not Californicate Oregon". I went back to CA and left for Seattle area in 1977 and as of 12-14-19, I am in Sedona, AZ. So happy to be here, even the Covid-19 restrictions were a piece of cake here.

A good friend of mine moved to vegas this year. Instantly surprised how our state does not restrict the Second Amendment like California. And we don't have five dollar gasoline. We went to the shooting range and I told him "Welcome to America." P.S there is a reason why Nevada is so prosperous prior to the election of Steve sisolak we've had Republican Governors for 20 years. But the California Exodus is causing gas prices to go up, crime, and homelessness. Don't California Nevada learn from your mistakes.
If it wasn't for Californians visiting Nevada over the years Nevada would not be "prosperous" as you claim. I have yet to see a gallon of gas for $5 as you claim", then again you probably get your information from President Trump. As far as the Second Amendment, you can still purchase a gun in California, another fallacy of your information. It's just that Californians care about the value of "life" and are trying to come up with a common sense solution to the gun situation in our nation. Guns are not the only way to solve a problem.
@@anthonymirelessr.60 "Value of life", say's the state which closed down every business during the corona virus epidemic......yet made certain to leave the abortion clinics open for "Business". They hoped no one would notice, and when they did......they fought like hell for women's right to "choose". Remember when Obama said that if the Republicans brought a knife to a fight, then they {Democrats} would "bring a gun". Didn't hear that? Oh, then again you probably get your information from the main stream media, the extension of the Democrat National Committee.... which tells the media which news they report and which to bury. Remember when Mika Brzezinski said on National Television that it was their job to tell people what to think, not Trump's job? This is MSNBC, a propaganda extension of the DNC. It is hard to find some of Obama's best quotes on Google or RU-vid, because of course, they are all Democrats. So it is really a lie that the Democrats care about life or that they have an interest in solving problems without resorting to violence.....especially as George Soros is funding these violent protests..... supplying the rioters with bricks, gasoline and actually placing ads on his website "Open Society Foundation" website to hire and pay people to "peacefully protest". Better get you "information" from somewhere else.....and $4.75 - $4.90 can be rounded up to $5.00 easily.. Which is the way math is generally taught.

I was all set to retire back to San Diego (anxiety much) my kids with God's admonition have decided to finally Leave for better pastures, The Liberal Democrat Party have ruined the once Golden State. Good riddance California
I was born and raised in Seattle, and we see the same thing here. Homes are out of the price range for the middle class, but the people from China have no problem paying way over the asking prices and, they pay cash for them with leaves so many Americans that want the American dream out of luck. Homeless is a huge problem here with broken down RVs parked all over the city. Seattle is also a sanctuary city along with the whole state.
Which is funny because my ex brother-in-law bought homes in both Thailand and China and both homes have to be in his wife's name because "foreigners" can NOT OWN PROPERTY in China and Thailand, but FEINSTEIN and other TRAITORS like her can and DO sell our COUNTRY to our ENEMIES lock, stock and barrel? Yep as a Conservative Republican all my life since 18 years of age born and raised in California got sick of my vote never counting and watching California going to the swamp I toomoved away July 2019 I sold my home and bought one as far away as I could to Tennessee to be exact now as a Republican and conservative I get to be around others who feel the same way! Not to mention less taxes gas prices way lower cost of living much better and the state is beautiful and clean people have respect for their cities I love it out here!
BTW I recently found out that they used voter harvesting to make your vote not count. Also Pelosi and newsomes are only 2 of 4 families that have had power in California for the past 80 years. They were and probably still connected to the mafia. :( California can tax you even after you move. So make sure you register for resident asap and only pay for those days you were not. I really do miss California and having my little business there . The only time I really left California was to go in the military (Vietnam) and a few years at College but most of my life in the Bay Area! But when my own sister got away with a great deal of my inheritance, my days in California were numbered! How I miss the weather in the Bay Area ! Watching Bay Area sports starting at reasonable times instead of where I am now at 11:00 pm. I lived in Tennessee for a year and when I got back I kissed a redwood tree at My favorite lake in Marin County and really meant it big time! Now Im in Kentucky the weather is either too cold or too hot but at least I got a nice house for the money which I could never do in rich marvelous Marin! Now because of health issues I can’t go back to San Francisco and continue my business. I really, really miss the wonderful weather there but like what was said before, the left and it’s Governor make me ashamed I went to the same high school he did! There really is a sense of decency here in Kentucky especially enjoying Fox News! It makes me feel bad I used to be a Democrat ! I played guitar at a tiny club in Kentucky n when I mentioned I was a Vietnam Veteran the audience really gave me a hearty welcome! If I played in the Bay Area n mentioned I was a Vietnam Vet it wouldn’t be so welcoming for sure!
Yep CA has great weather, but I've found the trade off to be far more beneficial. Nicer people, lower taxes, more freedom, less restrictions on 2nd amendment rights. Thanks for sharing your story.
I just moved my family to Missouri on 14 August 2019. The people here are so nice. The home I just sold in California for $490,000 here in Missouri is $250,000 to $300,000. I paid Less than $2.40 per gallon for gas actually $2.12, I think it is over $4.00 back in Modesto CA. I don't see people with stolen shopping carts here.
Been a life long Californian but I've had about enough. Ridiculous regulations, taxes, high high housing costs are squeezing me. I'm middle aged and earn $60k annually. Oh and traffic and angry people are never pleasant to be around. Nevada is sounding very appealing.

Not sure I could even afford to do that today if she was still here. Loved my time in California and I still try to visit every year. No regrets on leaving though....it's gotten much worse since 2010. Politicians need to pay attention, it's not sustainable...and the crash is coming, if it isn't coming in waves. I grew up in San Diego, moved to Nevada (Lake Tahoe) in 1989, and then to Washington (Spokane) in 2000. It was air pollution, liberal politics, and high taxes that drove me out of Southern California. Both Nevada & Washington have no income tax. Unfortunately, the liberals control the big cities in both states (Las Vegas, NV & Seattle, WA )and their business-unfriendly policies are jeopardizing the economic future of both states.
So may illegals that don't pay for anything, especially medical bills and 5-6 baby deliveries each family. We're gonna leave too. Florida, probably Tampa Bay.
This is the problem. Californians are moving out and then messing up the other states. We went to Montana this past year and they hated us. We started to lie and tell them that we were from a different state.

Stand up Americans before you are next... We went to universities to learn WHAT??? P.S. Why does your military allow this??? Why do you keep sending your kids to die in foreign wars only to lose life at home??? Who is in charge anyway???
@@TheJammasterrick People like you just want to complain but kept on living in America..The ills of USA is nationwide..go to china or somewhere else..White people took the Indian land long time ago and you're mad at immigrants? We all are..unless you are a full blooded Indian. Europeans came and never left and took the land as their own..Whos e worst?
little bit of racism?? Just because someone lives in a particular state doesn't mean they think the same as everyone else. So does everyone in Arizona vote for the same political party? Go back in your hole. Narrow minded bigot!
I noticed at the beginning that they show pristine everything....without the mass of people on the beach, or the parks, or the freeways. Pelosi has personally ruined the state....
I was born in New York and moved to California 1966 I'm in my '60s now and have 13 grandchildren the schools indoctrinate our kids to believe in whatever they want to teach them No history no basic math So we homeschooled all of them and two going to college That's why everything changes too! I live about an hour and a half to Los Angeles and I haven't gone down there for anything in years and I will not I wish I could move out of California my son lives in Portland and it's really bad there as well and he wants to move to Idaho I'm a senior I really can't afford to move out I'm disabled but If I had the means to move I would do it in a heartbeat too much liberal mindset here I feel like the lone ranger I'm a Christian a Conservative and there's a lot of people in California that cannot speak out because of the cancel culture which is rampant! I really enjoyed what you said because it is true 100%. Thanks for the video
What a straight out fucking retarded thing to say! Both states are AWESOME in their own right! All this shit talking about liberal this and Cali is just a big ghetto that is nonsense!! The United States! UNITED!
To late! The main line from Flagstaff to Tucson and Sierra Vista is crammed with Californians! They all drive way to fast for the mountains and have driven the prices up double these past few years. I live on low income SS and I must leave soon as I can! Many people are leaving AZ metro areas for the mountains or other states!
@@zp3495 Then they gotta get rid of the damned LA/SF hats. Dodgers are elephants in the room with already pissed off Arizonans, let alone pissed off Cardinals fans lolll. This coming from a CA resident (but voting heavily anti-liberal and conservative)!
It's so sad. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in the 60's and 70's, it was a paradise. I stayed until 94 before I saw the writing on the wall. My home is gone never to return.
We're looking to retire there, near Sedona, but it's so expensive there now. Any great suggestions. We don't necessarily want to live in the heart of a city, little more land, not a stones throw from a neighbor and about 30 minutes from good dining choices would be great. Thanks in advance.
Born and raised in So Cal I'm 55 now and as soon as my house sells I'm out of this overpriced over populated state. Cant stand the people anymore no respect, and all the traffic and road rage. Keep it I'm gone. ASAP
If you are anywhere near a high risk zone you actually should sell if you can NOW. The housing market already crashed in Northern California, nobody's buying unless they are wealthy and can afford huge yearly expenses even on a hut; the fire insurance is going to be 500 or more a month, and to live with no electric off and on for the next ten years. NO low income person can pay that. Be grateful if you are in a wealth pocket safe from wildfire. You are not safe from Arsonists. Arson is a mental disorder usually and often has a sexual component. There is no doubt in my mind people are coming to California to START these fires for both gratification of fantatsies to political motives. I get out now. If you want it even cheaper, you can try farther south. If you need the dry air you stay west somewhere.
There are no "cheap" houses anywhere in California worth buying. You have to be kidding. It's not just taxes, it's priciples, you are paying for a rouge Nazi State. 79 thousand illegals last month alone, everything paid for by you.
#walkaway If your leaving California (like I did) it's for a reason and that reason is failing and failed Democrat libertarian socialist policies. So if your coming over to Texas, leave all your democratic "ideals" in California and in the trash where they belong. You won't find any sanctuary cities here or any lawless society bubbles. If that is what you want, then stay in California or any other state or country (for that matter) that doesn't put it's citizens first. Or there is always Venezuela where you will feel right at home with all those liberal policies that will always eventually lead to socialism and communism. Oh but that's right you are leaving California because you are noticing that those policies don't work..... so then leave those policies in California and #walkaway
I'm born and raised in California as well I'm 55 also, I just sold my home in San Diego County June of this year and bought a house one month later in Tennessee 3 bedrooms 2 full size bathrooms a formal dining room a formal living room a big kitchen a huge Loft upstairs with the extra room and bathroom up there that can also be a family room an attic and a basement with a huge backyard I just put a 10 x 12 ft Barn custom shed in the backyard with a 10 x 12 foot custom gazebo going up to the back steps of my house. I sold my modest two bedroom one bath 980 square foot townhouse Right before the market started to go down and I received full asking price 269000 I only owed 50 on it and I bought this house out here in Tennessee for $230,000 it's made out of stone and it's in the historic district the floors are beautiful shiny original wood flooring, the people out here all share the same values we are all conservative Republicans and it is so beautiful out here I drive around even in the busy parts of town and it's clean there's no trash everywhere everything is green and beautiful out here if you are a conservative and a republican come on out just don't come out here to try to change the state into a blue state I would hate to see it turn into California 😉😉
There is only Rich and Poor in CA. No in-between. Even if you have a great job, you aren't making enough to buy the house you want in the neighborhood you want. You could waste your whole life renting an apartment, never owning anything!
My husband went to China for work and stayed 36 days. At the time he was retired navy and had been to many, many countries and said it was the worst country he had ever been to.....the people are either very poor or very rich, no in-between. Let that sink in.
Yes there is poop, and lots and lots of garbage, but I was in San Francisco (I live in LA) recently and I was surprised to see how clean San Francisco is relatively speaking. I saw homeless people but zero poop and I went to many different parts of the city. Oh and I was on the lookout for poop. Couldn’t find one! Now LA...
I'm from Marin County and I'm moving to Croatia. Better medical, no property tax, no state tax, only VAT tax which comes out of everything you buy. The weather is great and the crime is almost zero.
CGB Brennan The only thing about that is the American tax implications. US has citizenship based tax. You will also been under the laws of Fatca as well. Good luck with your move I hope it works out.
@@lowflyingpigeons2170 you are correct but very small price to pay compare to the $12k property tax I pay now. What will I do with an extra $12k a year? Travel and enjoy life. Don't get me wrong, California is nice, but the price tag is too high for a quality of life that is dropping each year. Life is short, experience everything before it is taken away from you.
@defcon six I am in Croatia right now overlooking the construction of the house which will replace my home in Northern California. You are absolutely correct. There are places here that put even our best places in California to shame.
i have friends that bought houses in Hungary, super cheap place to live and close to many cool parts of Europe. Ill go there before i ever visit California again
Exactly, it's their voting choices that's ruining these states. So if they move to another state that's not Democrat leave your voting mind set behind. If you don't you are just ruining another state.
Hopefully you're voting conservative and Republican in your new state!! 👍🏻 LOL at Ghettofornia, I've never heard that before. Commiefornia yes, but that no. Good luck, and fight for freedom!
@@DrKnow1tAll I didn't do it neither did my ancestors. Would it be fair to blame a race of people instead of the ones who perpetuated it? There's always someone who has something to say. These are the same people who bring war all over the world...the one percent royal families and trillionaires who divide the people. Divided we are all weaker. Go in line with all the haters, that is exactly the mentality they want.
Just be sure to vote Republican when you move! Most of the states east of the California line are seeing the economic boom. Good jobs, affordable housing, etc. Please don't bring any CA mentality with you though. :o)
Tami Thurman So it’s like the left pukes in Lansing and Detroit that have more numbers than us up North. What burns me, they retire up here and try to change our culture . We’ve been here since horse and buggy and our families won’t budge. Fight the good fight.
It's expensive everywhere. Stop encouraging the bourgeoisie. All they want is more and more of everything and they force everyone else to play the same stupid game or go under.
@@jakemcclintock8696 Yes I agree it is expensive everywhere with that said it is much more expensive in Southern California so who would blame someone to want a better bang for the buck. Chill out Dude!
@@jakemcclintock8696 The bourgeoisie? When are you dupes going to ever stop quoting your idiot professors who still use this stale Soviet era Marxist claptrap?
I am moving my family to Missouri as soon as possible. I had thought about Texas, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington; but their are to many Californians already in them. They will eventually ruin those states.
The first item upon moving to Nevada, is to formally De-register from CA, and Register as a Republican Voter in my new State. I still have my CA D.L as dmv has been closed , . however was able to Register as soon as possible with proof of Residency, even without a Gov. NV I.D.
J Calhoun for sure! Trump 2020 baby. I hate the political environment of California and the uber crazies lefties. I am 100% pro 1st and 2nd amendments.
@DesertRat45 I was born in California. And I love the care free gun attitude of Nevada. It's honestly the best. Except the weed. They should've relocated the dispensary somewhere else.
I moved to Orange County CA about 4 years ago, im a middle glass guy with a couple kids and my jobs have always been in sales or customer service jobs.... i made $30-$32 an hour in tampa and had a townhouse and a nice car and lived good. Moved here, cant find any jobs paying over 20-22 an hour and even with my wifes 18/hr we can’t afford to live here, rent is almost 2k for a 1br apartment, kids are growing and we need another room, cant afford a 2500/mo apt and don’t want to move to a bad part of town so we decided to move, after 24 years in the USA im moving back to europe where i came from as a teenager, nothing good is on the horizon here and im done trying and spending all my money on rent. CA is for the rich or the homeless/bums. Not made for middle class, im over it.... nice weather and beaches dont pay the bills. Can’t wait to leave this hell hole
TampaAerialMedia thanks! Moving back to tampa is plan B right now as I spent 12 years there but the humidity is brutal and things were going down hill there as well, but it’s definitely still 100 times better than socal if you’re an average middle class joe like me.
It's already too expensive. We just bought some property here for the second time, as if we didn't know any better, and the regulations for developing it are absurd. What you save on the price you end up paying in fees, permits, and the price of regulations (like a septic system installed before you have so much as visited your property). And then there are the politics, which are almost as absurd as in CA, only on the other side of the spectrum. They just installed two senators here that are both women, one a democrat and the other a Republican. It's as if we learned nothing from the CA experience, which elected Dianne Feinstein and followed that up with electing Barbara Boxer as the freshman senator, followed by Kamala Harris. Two women senators at once -- not a good idea, and that has been borne out in CA, with all their insane lefty nonsense. Watch AZ be dumb enough to follow their lead.
@Sovereign Its in the agenda to annex the whole west coast of the united states and well as expanding and annexing other south western states to california, it is also in our goal to annex baja and portions of brithis Columbia. Please do not resist.
@Sovereign the people who run california are just puppets, it is best to create an unstable government within California by allowing mass immigration as well as adding stupid laws to fitful and replace the puppet government with a more nationalistic government, more like a constitutional republic with a monarchy. Please do not resist.
You're right. When my family moved to Mesa in 1988, home prices were so low and most of the area was citrus trees. Now the whole East Valley is it's own metro, all the way to San Tan Valley! Texas is a lower cost of living and better economy than Arizona. It was smart to buy a house here.
I always loved SO.California and thought I would live here forever. This state has went down the drain. The Liberals have ruined it. I would love to move to Texas but my kids are in college here. looks like I will have to move without them. Hopefully my kids will follow me and not choose to stay in this crappy state.
I rarely comment but I am from California. I go to a 27k a year high school in San Francisco with a 33 percent acceptance rate. You might think that it is full of great things but it isn't. Drugs just about everywhere including the bathrooms, strong support for liberalism where nancy pelosi, AOC, and bernie are the saints of the school. Religion is not a thing. It merely exists even at a Catholic high school. The exuberantly high cost of living where you can have 1 million dollars and a 70k salary and still struggle. It breaks my heart to see such a beautiful place fall apart. I've lost so many of my friends to drugs and the culture of California. Please don't come here. And if you leave, don't vote for these people who made California the place it is.
The elephant in the room for Californica is pedophilia. And it appears radical atheism is morphing into variants of literal satanism. That's not widely known but it's starting to come out now. Child sex trafficking, which is rampant now, is tied in with it. California is now a breeding ground for the most toxic trends at play in the culture.
