Join us on our California trip for Monster Jam World Finals 2024 at Sofi Stadium. We had to head out a couple days early to visit our friends Mark and Tony at Gotham Garage (Car Masters on Netflix), stopped in to see our friend Pete Finlan (Hot Dog) and also got an awesome look inside the Spin Master facility. Of course being from Florida, when we go over to the Pacific it's like a whole different world for us so we always make time for some sight seeing. This was one of the best World Finals we've been to. Seeing Sparkle Smash tired up and on display as well as the new Kraken colorway was the icing on the cake. First time I saw a monster truck was at the shop I worked at in Phoenix. There was this guy named Bob sitting next to it, just hanging out, no fuss. He asked me what I thought of it. I mean it had these huge flotation tires that were brought in on a separately that had to be put on with a small crane. I think it was 1982 or 83. I kinda shrugged my shoulders at it, not my thing. That night, I got to see him "perform" in it. It was called BigFoot. I moved on to build molds for kit cars in the analog age of doing your best to scribe mold plugs perfectly symmetrical (not). I was fortunate enough to have good backing to lay up aluminum filled epoxy over kevlar. Out of the biz for 30+ years and so glad to have found y'all through Cleetus. Take a bow, you deserve it. Your approach is stellar. You bring families together with stuff that pops the lid off of the imaginations of the kids that drink up the inspiration pooling all over. Wow, thanks man! That was really awesome to hear. And that's a really cool story! Not sure if you know but we helped restore Bigfoot 4 and 8 and now they run Starr logos on the grille and license plate. That was a major milestone for us having grown up watching those trucks perform. They were a huge part of our lives and to have them run our name is huge for us. Be really cool if you could figure out how to record the quest footage, I'm guessing probably needs a bunch of wires though and restrains movement

Thanks! Yeah there were some hiccups with the Leroy build because of the engine situation so expect the next video to be a full Leroy build video :)

10:20 The only reason monster jam with spin master has more growth is because they make way too many grave diggers each year. I understand it makes more money, but why prioritize that over your fans?
