This. Even at an easier one its still bad. 90% of the time if you ask for help, you dont get any at all, just left hanging in the wind and ultimately screwed. At least the current one pays well and provided the equipment…. One really bad one i worked at from home entirely paid nearly minimum wage and expected me to pay for ALL OF MY OWN EQUIPMENT INCLUDING EXPENSIVE ROUTERS, MODEMS, SPECIFIC COMPUTERS AND DIDNT EVEN SUPPORT THE VARYING GRAPHICS CARDS. They didnt support nvidia with there vpn….i was nvidia. It was disgusting how much money they wanted me to spend when i was so underpaid. And it was tech support….at near minimum wage. Then they managed to LOWER my pay after a few layoffs. No fucking joke.
The seasoned rep has probably been there only a few weeks longer than the trainee, and half of the people who started with the seasoned rep have probably quit already.
I applied for a call centre job in a bank and ended up not getting it. Maybe that’s just as well anyway, seeing as my mental health is more important. I get anxiety from time to time so maybe it’s for the best. I have worked in an outbound call centre before though and it’s pretty shitty work.
@@joyformercy9627 my anxiety was finally stable until I got a job at a pharmaceutical call center. It’s a more serious center as the medication is life altering for the lungs. My anxiety was fine in the first week before I had to take in bound calls. Now my anxiety has gotten so bad and everyday is just as bad if not worse.
@@victortziquintambriz2470 nah is not hard it’s just a lot at once, overwhelming for little pay. It’s cool temporarily but not long term. You’ll go mad.
It's about time! Took 8 something months to get another? My Wife can pop out another baby in that time almost it LOL.... I love these. You will get your metrics down of you hang up on a few calls then the other calls can go longer LOL, well I didn't hang up I would just xfer them to the fax line. I kept some of my ATT roadside calls, I've been thinking about putting them up on here, the company owes me money so screw the non-discloser agreement. What a stupid company using sales force, so easy to download your calls. LOL.
@Nenethegreat W I know exactly how it happens, seen it a few times, both naturally at home and c-section, 6 times all together.... Sorry I didn't read on after you said cervix.
When I worked in a call center for a cell carrier, we were told not to let the customer off the phone until we had fully resolved ALL of their issues, but we also needed to keep our AHT down. I would ask how to satisfy both demands. They never could give me a useful answer, but they would still continue to make both demands.
This is indeed the issue that no "supervisor" or "manager" or "QA" willing to answer because they know its impossible. "Oh hey you AHT is above allowed, yet we do not care that this is caused by our stupid process where we want you to ask customer when ever they have more questions or not". Its like if these companies that make such procedure think they can get new IPhone 14 yet want to only pay 100$. So yeah
omg!! when she said i don't deserve this!! lool.- these customers man! i had one Customer tell me: well what would you do in my situation and i replied, i wouldn't be in your situation cause i pay my bills on time and she totally went cray cray saiyng i was rude and not being of service and asked for my employe number and went on a rant on how she knew people in the upper management (she didn'dnt) wtf..
The only thing this series was missing was the handful of resident clients that call in daily, i don't know why but every company has them. They normally don't need anything, it's just part of their day to call in and talk about something with the reps.
@Nenethegreat W yep supervisors always want you to get them off the line as soon as possible. I always loved them though because it burned a good chunk of time and it’s always nice to talk with someone who isn’t yelling at you.
I worked for a health insurance... I had a call from a member calling to submit a complaint against the members roommate stealing soy sauce from the members room.... Uuuuuuuuh!?
Know the place im working at said it wasnt a call center but a tech support firm. Used to not care excessively about metrics. Now it does. Used to not be backtoback all the time now it is. And im being moved to customer support..not sure there tech support in that. If it is what i think it is i dont plan on staying. Oh yeah occurences for being 1 minute late onto the phones recently.
