Call it a Day ( CalArts Film 2022 ) 

Since no seems to be mentioning it I Love the little details indicating that his reading a book for example how at 1:06 you can see the writing on the shadows and on the taxi scene you can also see some letters. Also how the street from the beginning seems very alike to the one in the book which is something I do often when reading scenarios while imaginign things or places i've been too Sorry if this doesnt make sense english is not my first language.

I love everything in this short. From the character designs to the more detailed hands when close up. The way you showed the contrast between the real world and the story. The most obvious example having lines of text in the backgrounds. Or even the less mentioned fact that the backgrounds are more dramatic like those interior shots in some of Tim Burton’s work. However, my favorite has to be that the street lights in the book are much sharper that the one we saw earlier when he got off work.

Amazing job. My favorite calarts film that I've seen so far this year. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see what you create next.
