If you look at the stream...the stream is in color but if you look at the mirror behind them, everything and everyone is black and white....very spooky indeed.....and awesome!!!!
37:51 I vaguely remember something about a 01 roll is always success no matter the skill, (Thus you can have a "success" in 0 % skills) and it do not get a mark; instead you roll immediately roll for improvement of that skill. (Dunno if that is an optional rule, or a rule from an earlier version.)
Paperchase is one of several great little starting adventures, like The Haunted House (The Corbitt place) and it was in earlier rules sets (much earlier than 7th or whatever is the current number). Great to see Becca GM'ing! Can't wait for more! :)
I am not so happy with Paperchase. - This is one of the better runs I have seen. But there are used some questionable shortcuts: Letting an investigator being able to detect spirits is a paranormal ability, here it allow for skipping fast through finding the cemetery and finding the path to it. (Normally problematic.) And letting them know instantly that he have become a Ghoul. (Something new investigators would have no knowledge of.) - Two things that make the scenario easier, but... less horror.
I think I played this scenario in the early 1980s as a young teen. I remember being shocked by the ending, thinking who in their right mind would choose such a fate.
I hate to be criticle, but why have a STARTING SOON sign up for 15 minutes when the live stream has been over for a long, long time now. I know RPG take a long time, but two years of waiting? Otherwise it was enjoyable. Most videos with the Good Time Society are.
