Isn't failing intellect checks what you want? Failing the checks means your character doesn't comprehend what's going on meaning you won't go insane. Am I reading the rules wrong in 7e?

yeah, if they fail it they cannot comprehend what they saw, mistake there.

This is the best portrayal of “The Hammer” I have seen! Well done. The only thing that would have improved would be to have someone go limp out of the bakery before the players enter with a broken arm to foreshadow “The Hammer’s” ruthlessness

I knew some of the Browns played DnD. Now I'm going to run some CoC with my friends for the first time with this adventure. Finding this vid was helpful and awesome.
