Call of Cthulhu: No Time to Scream Reviewed 

Well, all of these lackluster books have been saving me a lot of money. Hope Chaosium returns to their once-magnifcent ways.

Gotta say, that last adventure looks pretty sweet. Bits and Pieces does seem pretty silly, though.

I've been thinking the same about the art of CoC for a long time, it's an horror game, make some scary and gory artwork for a change instead of 10 different versions of an investigator soiling themselves while seeing tentacles. There is also the matter of the themes dealt in the scenarios, I've noticed a trend with Chaosium where their material got increasingly pg 13, not enough sleaze and grittiness around tbh, games like Kult and Delta Green have definitely proved that there is a market for that too so why not make something more adult and disturbing? The Berlin supplement was nice for example.

Unfortunately I'll be giving this one a miss. Chaosium has taken a severe nosedive in quality lately in my opinion. Thanks for the excellent review though.

Played Bits and pieces over a month ago when someone on the server had a test copy. The story was poor but the group made it somewhat fun. It was just stupid and felt written by a child and not to the level of previous material. Body bits animated trying to reform, but they are in different rooms, leg in the lounge that hops at you, arm in another that grabs and attacks you. Goofy is the right word, I will skip this book i feel
