right man, biggest fights during WW2 were absolute chaos, my grandfather who was fought in the Battle of Kursk and in many more told us only one definition for the war - this is absolute Chaos

It actually isn't very accurate as order 227 only applied to captains and they would usually get detained and punished

it showed the chaos but this level was pretty much just based off enemy at the gates

The commissar with a loud speakers told every comrades that 2 of them will have only ONE rifle. The armed go and other with ammo an follow the armed. If the armed killed then the ammo carrier pick up the rifle, load up and shoot. Thats the one of the realistic detail
