I feel like that's the reason no one really respects it that much. Even though MW is a good game, it would be recieved far better if they did not release the same game every fucking year.
@@watchingthemoons Except they don't, sure, some of them are very similar, but games like Black Ops 2, 3, Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare 2019 all did drastically different things with the formula. MW being leaps and bounds improved from CoD games before it in terms of graphical fidelity, animation quality, realism, military-sim attributes, weapon customisation and gameplay mechanics. We should also remember that Call of Duty is the combined efforts of (previously) 3 big AAA developers and numerous studios working on games for a single franchise.
Actually the shotgun range is completely normal. I don't know why people bitch about shotguns that should be 5-10 meters range, at that point it's useless.
I mean tbf this was before the riot shield nerf. Pre-nerf riot shield wouldn't go on your back when you would use a throwing knife, but now you're completely vulnerable when you use a throwing knife while holding a riot shield.

To be fair, that's the actual effective range of a shotgun in real life. Most game devs make it real weak unless you're right in someone's face to ensure that people would use other weapons.
just ben I mean they would be in real life. A sniper isn’t meant to shoot targets from >50 feet away. Shotguns and rifles are supposed to do that. ISnipers really don’t belong in tdm. It’s kind of annoying hearing people complain about snipers when they use them in cqb. Just not it’s purpose.

at first, it's the first joke of claymore spam, later on, the same joke jump out of nowhere to supprise you in a good way and your brain will be like "oh, i though we were pass that part, but shit, here we go again" itr's like the "thats what she said joke
To be fair. I personally laughed at 3 of the claymore bits. When his ally died shooting at one at the top of the stairs, anothwr when sunky placed one, then died by enemy gunfire only for him to run up and trogger it, and then the last bit.

Yeah honestly, all fingers point at the shotgun campers as the problem but the game literally pushes you into that playstyle, they're just playing optimally.
@@TapDat52K is that really a problem though? There's so much skill in predicting enemy paths, faking them out, knowing which corners to jump, when to sit back for a second to throw off would be campers. Running and running without getting shot to bits in COD takes skill, camping has NEVER taken anything.
Man I love how broken everything was when this game first came out. I actually forgot how broken the 725 was. Was even worse when you put long barrel and the sniper scope on it.

@@LermaBean slugs are like big bullets that reduce spread and increase accuracy and power, while pellets are just shells that explode loads of smaller bullets and are super inaccurate unless you are pretty close. dunno why i wrote an essay on this but you see what i mean, right?

Taylor it’s nerfed now so it doesn’t matter footsteps are less and less people camp but they still do hopefully I heard when they add radar it will help

all those things are real though. if you wanted it to be super accurate every other gun would fire 700-1500 rpm and kill somebody in 1-2 shots depending on where they get hit. problem isnt the shotty its everything else. also relaod times are way too fast.
What I gathered from this are three types of viable gameplay: 1) Camp with a sniper and claymores 2) Camp with a shotgun (claymores optional) 3) Run around with a riot shield, claymores and throwing knives like a madman Thanks for the tips man
