I loved advance warfare because it was the right mix of futuristic and modern. The boots on the ground feeling and futuristic mobility was a great experience. Infinite was too futuristic for me and then they went to WW2. Really wish they make another one in the same period or even a sequel.
When this scene happened I promise you one thing I NUTTTED Oh my god but that was better than the time in in 2001 when I saw Jurassic Park 3 and I shit my pants now. Everyone around me was very upset because I didn't leave. It was a good movie. I didn't want to get up and leave so i shit my pants
I could listen to Troy bakers voice everyday and not get bored of his voice he is so iconic and genuinely forgot he was in this game and I think this game is underrated I loved this campaign and the multiplayer was amazing
I will never understand why this game gets hate? everything about it was amazing i loved the story and the graphics were unreal they look better then most newer cod games imo
The multiplayer gets hate for good reason and that was just the horrible supply drops. It was the major thing that really brought this game down. Everything else wasn't really bad honestly.
because the storytelling is generally bad. im sorry that you’re so easily amazed by vague, incomplete, convenient storyline’s, but if you think this is good i think you might have a mental deficiency. i wouldn’t be surprised if you actively watch riverdale and enjoyed the ending of stranger things 4 either. you can’t even nail a timeline this game operates under, you can’t tell if it’s been 1 day, 1 week or 1 month between each cutscene/mission, half the story you forget by the end of it and the amount of plot armour throughout it is horrific. but i see you have the exact same lack of depth as the writers did, your reasoning for liking it doesn’t go much further than “it’s pretty and had cool story”. how old were you when the game came out? 11?
Mitchell didn't know the real reason why his friend wanted to get away from his own father. He knew his father was not a good person. He just found out too late.
I think it's more of a normal generational gap thing. In the first scene Will mentioned the sentence in a joking tone and I didn't observe any sign of animosity he had towards his father. He probably knew his father had some questionable beliefs (pretty much true for every generation) but still see him as a family. On the other hand, whenever Irons brought up his son it sounds like he does genuinely cared about his son and recognizes his good character, even though he thinks he made a foolish decision which got himself killed. I believe the game did a great job on humanizing Irons. For example you can tell he treats the MC and his former employees very differently to an outsider like Cormack even after the betrayal. He sees Cormack as a representation of the incompetent state which is responsible for his son's death. You can tell Irons hated Cormack from the very beginning, and was okay with shooting Cormack and let him bleed to death. He couldn't do the same with MC, which is very relatable, because let's face it, not many people on this Earth is comfortable with shooting the other kid on the block who was the best friend of your son. Same with with Gideon who was pretty much his right hand operator and most likely instrumental to how far Atlas was able to get to. Like Irons said in the end he was not a monster, but powerful people with "noble" intentions can often be far more dangerous than obvious monsters.
Late reply but here we go. Will’s father probably wasn’t a very good dad, being the CEO he probably didn’t spend much time with him and probably didn’t even have too much emotions for him. The first thing his father did after paying respect is literally offered Mitchell a job, he didn’t cry, didn’t grief over losing his son either, no wonder why Will left to join the Marines instead of taking a cushy desk job at his father’s company.
7 Years old game, but still one of the best FPS games I've ever enjoyed. This game is full of breath taking actions, still remember the greatest part the Highway Chase. Thanks a lot for the Cutscenes. I'm gonna enjoy it. 🙏👍
This is the most 2014-2015 game I have ever played. The cutscenes add to that aesthetic to the point I feel like I'm watching a Tom Cruise movie from that time period.
It's fucking crazy that we are creating the stuff this game uses today to a degree. Army is creating the IVAS, basically those goggles those Marines were wearing. Marines are creating the drone operators the thing Mitchell was using New weaponry Jetpacks are in development Closest things we have to those warbirds are ospreys which are innovating everyday like the v-280 valor and so much more.
No, Iron is more than that, we have: 1. Good people doing bad things and don't know. 2. Bad people doing bad things and know things are bad. 3. Bad people doing bad things and believe those are the right things. The last one is the most dangerous, and that's Iron.
God I loved this game when I was younger. I was just there for the pew pew of the game. Now I come back to the death of will and the first cutscene, now I understand the life of a soldier futher, the life of a soldier is hard, torturous, and not forgiving. It's full of grief, trauma, and despair. God bless the men and women serving in every country's armed forces.
One of the best campaigns for Cod, next to Mw2. It really needs a sequel because of the cliffhanger, and I wanna know what happened to Ilona and Joker!
@@briansmith2739 Awwww, man! It's such a shame! I hope they get to make one after the mess with Vanguard, but, then again, they'd probably mess up the sequel, so I guess it's better to leave it where it is.
Bro your videos on AW recently inspired me to play the game again on veteran to get the trophies and this game was a blast. It felt like 2014 all over again playing this campaign totally nostalgia wave definitely my favorite COD story wise
45:20 scene probably one of the most photorealistic cutscenes they did such a great job. In a while game graphics could look like this, if they take the time and effort to fine tune lighting textures etc.
If you ask me... whoever does these animation cutscenes should take over in movie making. I've seen quite a bit of them and nothing comes close to call of duty cutscenes. Someone should do a budget comparison between CGI/3D movies and Cod games. Just for shts and giggles.
I wondered that, I think he was last seen on the roof with Gideon, Cormack, Ilona and Mitchell when they figured out what Irons did, he sorta just went
Over six thousand men in one day would be the bloodiest day in american history, I think the battle of Shiloh was around three and D-Day was a bit over two thousand.
My favourite cod multiplayer game got grandmaster in ranked use to grind so much played zombies every treyarch and only a few multiplayer games on other cods , this mastered ranked and multiplayer for me the guns were so much fun so was the abilities and the maps. The barracks everything was just so good. So many people, hated it but damn it was a childhood memory for me. Ps coming from someone that’s played every cod from waw to coldwar.
This is the best Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is the best one aside from MW3 and Black Ops honestly I love the story in this one it's the best I mean I wish they didn't flip the script and still kept Atlas good guy's because I love the idea of there being an Army for the World you know people that give a shit and care for and fights for everyone something the real world desperately needs but other then that this game was absolutely fucking awesome!
@@CHFOP-yo5so Yeah that is very true I'm glad somebody noticed because I've been saying for a while that America does everything a lot slower and dumber but him he's honest about it and makes the most sense and does everything quicker and the thing is almost every single person he killed were actually the assholes who deserved it especially the politicians so if I had to choose a devil it would be him because at least he's fair
@@Artorion and my man, that's how dictator came to power. Too much power concentration on a single person is not a good idea. Human mind is really a feeble one, you can't imagine just how much change a little bit of power can do to a person's mind. That's why the best test of people is to give them some power and watch them unfold their real inner demon.
Atlas was good and I really dont think he's dead. However the actors film career is meh now but god he did so good in this. Probably the best performance of all time in COD.
you won’t find anyone born before 2000 saying this. play all of the cods before this hot, steaming pile of garbage, you’ll get some perspective on how much of a letdown and fan service this game was.
@@jesseb64 funny cause I've seen many people say this who were born before 2000. Plus i was born before 2000. My first CoDs was Big Red One and United Offense. After playing the same shit over and over it was nice to have a change of pace instead of corner campers with shotguns and entire teams only utilizing one lane of the map while running nothing but meta weapons.
@@shanemcgee5863 that’s golden cause you just described post AW call of duty. MW2 was noob tube meta, MW1 was juggernaut, BO2 was snipers. AW was the death of good map design and the wake of the camping meta. again, proving my point that you never actually experienced cod before AW and just say that it’s the best. everyone hated it when you came out, if you were smart enough to understand how to operate reddit or any kind of forum back then you would’ve known that.
@@shanemcgee5863 also cap, don’t just bring up the oldest call of duties to hide the fact you hadn’t even hit 10 when AW was on shelves. bro and uo were both expansion packs if you didn’t bother to read the synopsis when you googled it btw. “cod4 was my first cod” is the way to go, google will tell you the information but not the culture ;).
@@jesseb64 if you paid attention I said "my first CoDs" meaning those were the CoDs I played first. Big Red One was not an expansion pack. I was born in 1997 dummy..... do the math on how old I was when AW came out. I literally own every CoD since WaW. Wait ,you just a random nobody who knows nothing about me or my life. Carry on troll.
Le meilleur Call of Duty de tous les temps pour moi la mise en scène était sublime et j'espère qu'un jour il y aura une suite the Call of Duty advanced Warfare🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
The mobile-suit armor at the end must be made up extreme futuristic materials because of its extreme thermal insulation and durability against thousands-degrees rocket exhaust.
Goddamn it, why did Irons have to be an antagonist. If this guy was real (the character, not the actor), I'd want him to run for president so long as he keeps his views and morals aligned with the straightforwardness without corruption.
Will there be a "LIVE ACTION" CoD movie? I'm surprised one hasn't been made yet. Halo and others already got thier own shows or movies. But no live action CoD yet? Imagine seeing Ghost or capt.Price on the big screen portrayed in live action! Would be so epic.
As we already saw with the Halo series, a show adaptation would be a massive disservice to the series. They like what paramount did would just try to make it like every other absolute garbage generic show that's on nextflix
Someone didn't do their research. They show Marine PFC's with the blood stripe on their trousers. PFC's pay grade is E-2, one had to be E-4 or above to wear the blood stripe (Corporal)
I just realized, Irons (Kevin spacey) was born in 1996 and was 65 years old at time of death in 2061. Which would put him right on the line of being a later Millennial to Early Gen Z. So this guy was part of the generation that defined most of the popular culture from the 2010s. Which is so weird to think about.
